If true it shows that the coaches have clearly marked fullback as the spot most in need. Who else is off contract at the end of the season?

We do need a gun #1 and a goal kicker at present.

If Tui becomes that guy then thats great

Looking more and more likely that Tui will be the long term fullback.

Fingers crossed we lock up Marsters for a few years.

Yep, would have loved Latrell. However, I doubt we were ever close. I too think he'll develop into a rare talent.

Thoughts on Luke Garner getting a chance in the NRL this year if he plays well?

Some highlights from 2017 in a busted team.

A lot to like about him. He has excellent post contact metres and seems a very good defender. Apparently Hodgo has big wraps on him.

Gee there is alot to like about him. He has great tackle technique and good defence reads. Seems to run alot like Twal in that it is all in one speed although he post contact meters is good. There is alot of upside with him.
How old is he?

No wonder he has a smile on his face. Do you believe his thought is "it's amazing how far money goes in the Eastern Suburbs".

Signed on minimum wage and gets a pensioner concession card!

I know it was only round one but Ferguson looked the most dangerous in there backline against us. Teddy was easily wrapped us by the Tigers defence. L Mitchell didn't do much this time.

He is something thats for sure.

The things i like are his direct style of play and his ability to make a big play.

Him and Gamble will carve up, both young strong and direct.

Gamble is an out and out 5/8 not sure about Garner though. Cleary would be smart to upgrade him to an NRL contract very quickly because at the very least he has utility value.

I watched the ISP and like everyone else was impressed, but didnt realise how good he can defend, as judging by those highlights.

I think they should give him a run at centre in first grade mid year, and when he fills out more, he can move to back row.
