If we're looking at Hookers apart from Jake Granville, here are a few off contract options. James Segeyaro, great player and brings a lot of energy. Also represented Papua New Guinea in the 2017 RLWC. Siliva Havili, still fairly young at 25 years of age, can play 80 minutes. Also represented Tonga in the 2017 RLWC.

Segeyaro would be awesome. Son go see Cleary for your bus ticket.

Havili could be interesting too.

Sadly, for whatever reason Elijah Taylor is not working out at hooker. We can't keep putting Godinet in, Liddle seems injured and MCK seems our best but not ideal option.
I wonder if Lawrence could go there? He seems to have the ticker for it.

I can’t see Lawrence or MCK doing well at hooker. Due to Liddle being injured and not coming on as we would like we are really stuck in this area.

Robson in ISP should be promoted. He has the potential to do a Damien Cook at 9\. Very tough, very fast, very skillful. Just a natural footballer. Looks great when he plays 9.

I like the idea of Mbye. He has all the attributes of a terrific fullback, just needs to fine tune a few things. Cleary would be great for him. He also has a great head on his shoulders, love how he handles himself, and appears to be a class person. I think he is a future captain at whatever club he plays. Goal kicking is better the we thought too, so thats another bonus. Only 24 years old. All sounds good to me.

Brian Kelly is ok. However, I would prefer a bigger centre. I'm sick of having short outside backs.

Feels like we are the slowest club to buy players… I know we need to trust them but when you hear the other clubs announcing signings it just makes me more anxious. I am sure we are one of the only clubs left to fill like 3 spots this year before June as well..

Liddle is good, but not physically ready for 80 minutes. It's pretty clear we're struggling at dummy half.

Granville doesn't play 80 minutes either.

If the NRL reduces the interchange from 8 to 6 next year, Robson would make the perfect bench utility player.

Maybe the coach knows what is going to happen with the interchange next season as he is on the panel …no use buying huge men with no motors ,so maybe a waiting game ATM for the right players for the future way the game is going.

Granville doesn't play 80 minutes either.

He can and has done a stack of times, pretty sure he did last night.
But would like to see Robson given a chance, Liddle has been injured nearly his whole NRL career

Why do people assume the cowboys are in a better position to lure players than we are?

They are playing terribly..Id say worse than us.
They are probably losing JT and Coote (so basically the whole team in recent years)
And its townsville…..its not exactly the best destination.

I hope we get Granville and Barba 😂😂

Val Holmes comes from Townville so if he goes anywhere it will be home to the Cows.

Been impressed with this guy, I think we will see him in a NRL teams top 30 next year.

Would be worth a look this year to be honest.

Yes! He was quick and on the rise when he was at manly. Never understood why he was allowed to go to ESL in the first place. Would prefer him over Granville

Sharks gave Flanno the okay weeks ago to sign Barba he’s going there. As others have said Holmes if he pushes for a release will go to the Cowboys. Sharks want him to stay as a winger.

I like Mbye for 2 years on a subsidised contract makes too much sense. Kelly Egan is close with the dogs he will likely win a battle for his services everything being equal.

Our biggest need is to upgrade Rochow on the edge. Can McQueen do it I’m not sure but I have no idea why we aren’t targeting Ethan Lowe who is out of form and dropped this week. Was borderline origin a year ago and kicks goals at 80%.

Ethan Lowe would be great, he seems to be out of favour with Paul Green at the moment and out form. What are people thoughts on Jaydn Su'a and Tyrell Fuimaono.
