I have more respect for him wanting to stay and help(like Woods/Tedesco)rather than the quitter/loser moses(eels) quitter.That dosent mean i wouldnt want him this year but i do respect a man who stays loyal to his team mates.
I am sure i would be in a small minority that feels this way.

The same reason we wanted Woods and Teddy to stay. Battle on through the hard times (and there were plenty), contribute to improving the Tigers name and Tigers culture, and lead the team to a premiership.

Quite sure no one misses that other thing (MM).

With the huge cap issues for the Bulldogs it would be in their best interest for him to leave asap.

If they can't make the finals theyd get rid of him.

Is that how you felt about Moses last year?
 
Moses spat the dummy when his contract was taken away and repeatedly asked to leave even though we still wanted to keep him at the time.

Mbye has been shopped around and the Bulldogs want him to leave, otherwise they wouldn't release him in the first place.

Yeah Demps i remember his exit too, Not the most professional exit.
Definitely better than those two fellas, I think if a second chance was given by Cleary he would be a different player.
I always thought he carried the heaviest load in the forwards when he was here, Maybe with Packer and co he could really be something else.
 
Isn't the difference between MM and Mbye, if he comes over before 30 June, Mbye isn't carrying on like a petulant prat? Dogging games, media games via his manager and the final straw of his mental health if not given immediate release to go to Parra? Mybe is dignity and grace in a difficult position compared to that prat.
 
I guess it further weakens their roster for the remainder of the year - not ideal for an incumbent coach - even though he is as much a victim of poor cap management as the players and fans.

Yeh to an extant. But if you just look at the playing roster compared to ours there is not much difference. They actually have more rep stars. In the end you work with what you got. I don't think he's actually a good coach. That might change in time.

Agree, there is a big difference between Mitchell and Mbye.
 
I wouldn't put much stock into what Lol Gorman has to say about Kelly. That one could certainly still go either way. Look at teh Dogs saying they won't spend a cent on M'Bye, only to be coughing up 250-300k for him over the next couple of years..

Yes to Garner and Robson getting bus passes from ISP to NRL for this year or next. Robson the perfect utility. Does a great job covering hooker, back row, centre, 5/8.

Do need a couple of pacy backs though.

No way Tatola was ever as good as Felise coming through the ranks. JJ was and is a superior player, even though junior is a bit bigger, he doesn't have the engine to play mins. Eiso got the nod ahead of JJ and has kept his spot, both similar but JJ packs a bit more punch. Eiso better defensively.

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of Moses Mbye for the coming four seasons.

The new agreement will see Mbye join Wests Tigers next season and be a part of the club until at least the end of 2022.

The 24-year-old has played 92 NRL games since making his debut in 2014.

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary said he looked forward to working with Mbye.

"Moses is a talented young man and we look forward to having him join Wests Tigers next season," said Cleary. "He's developed into an exciting player and I know he'll bring a lot to our club, both on and off the field."

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe welcomed Mbye to the club.

"Moses is an exciting addition to our playing squad and I look forward to having him at Wests Tigers for the coming four seasons," said Pascoe. "He's an impressive young man and I'm sure he'll quickly become a favourite with our Members and fans."
 
Good signing but don't like the 4th year. He's still largely an unknown talent at fullback and we can't afford to have money tied up on unproven players. Looks like we caved in to managers demands there.

Disappointing not to get him for this year too. Still 3 signings to go

Yeah I agree. 3 years max for any player. They might get too comfortable and slacken off after awhile. Though I see a lot if upside in him. He can run, kick and pass. Just needs a good coach to go to the next level.
 
Happy to have it done i think he'll be a solid recruit but like others have said i would have passed on the 4th year, although it could be a masterstroke time will tell.

If he's playing well enough, he'll play fullback. Best player will get selected.
