Salary cap is limited. We dont need a winger.

Oates is a great player but we have other priorities.

We need a centre, a top class one.

Definitely, with the idea to eventually move Marsters to 2nd row where he could solve another problem for us.

I would prefer we spend good money in the 2nd row. I like masters at centre maybe 2nd row in 3 years.

I don't buy the Rabbits not wanting to keep Angus one bit. He is killing it for them, they will have a tough time replacing him.

If they don't want him however, I'd have him.

Would also love to pick up Ryan James but he is locked up.

We need a prop with mongrel. Aloiai and Packer could have been lethal but both want to plod around.

Ah well, we're stuck with it until 2021 considering all our players are locked up long term

The Mole reporting Roosters are having trouble with TPA's for Angus Crichtons contract deal may fall over Souths not interested apparently could be back on the market.

This comes as reports Crichton is thinking about back-flipping on the Chooks as he wants to remain at the Bunnies now they are finding form again. Also it comes from reports that the Chooks have signed Marty Tapau and have no money left for Crichton .. Wow so maybe there really is no more $$$ under that salary sombrero .. !! Does uncle Nick know about this .. once he does know about it, he'll fix it .. !!

Maybe has something to do with how good Radley has come on, easts dont need another secondrower, Tapau would be better for them.
The roosters might be making the deal fall over, wouldn't surprise me what lengths those cheats would stoop to

Radley has been one of their best this year. He is a built Josh Reynolds style player at 13.

He has said he loves the Roosters, I doubt they will want to let him go but other clubs will be interested.

The new Rumor is Ivan is talking to Kelly's manager on Thursday to see if he can get him here before June 30th.

That would be great, get him here by the weekend, one week training and debut with Mbye and probably Farah's return, sounds good

For a year or so if he wanted to id take Luke. Would consider 2 max, definitely no more.

He is still one of the premier hookers and offers pace around the ruck. I doubt he would come to us though and id say parra will throw the kitchen sink at him, but the roosters/sharks will somehow have the $$$ to make a play

Agreed. Luke is probably what Cleary is looking for. Good passer and can advance the ball. Might be a good partner if Liddle is willing to learn and wait a year.

LIchaa is what we should NOT be looking at. The Bulldogs were a top 4 team, till they signed Lichaa and Mbye over Hodkinson and Ennis. The idea that Lichaa is playing better now that he is free of Des, is silly. The dogs are doing far worse then us and Lichaa is a part of the problem. Lichaa can't pass, he can run, he isn't first grade. Us signing Mbye is a big risk, he never really has developed at the dogs. To have 3/4 of the bulldogs failed spine is just an Absolute joke. We might as well hire Ben Barba to boost our team culture.

Is Cleary looking for a hooker..?

I was going to answer, we have just signed Robbie Farah (IMHO exactly who we need). Yet I think there be a double meaning there… Fortunately for us Cleary appears to be a loyal man.

Aren't TPAs meant to be organised by like, you know, actual _third_ parties and not the player or club.
Yeah, Roosters, I know.

If Roosters are going cold on the kid, it could only be because he's not performing as well or is about to have a massive fall from grace in some sort of scandal (which usually they cover up). He's been playing well I thought, so must be a BIG scandal.

Did you watch Esan in lower grades very lazy in own 50 but came alive when in opposition 50 did not do enough hard work loved to go for the try but not tackle

Yet these days all he does is hitups in our end, and has very little in the opposition 20.

Whether or not it is by design, who knows, but for mine he has looked very pedestrian for many weeks now.

He goes missing. May have to get him in second row to get more involved next season

Does anyone think Oates will be as good in the second row as he is on the wing?

Solid winger, great finisher. Not sure about 2nd row, I think he'd give it a red hot crack.
If we were looking for a winger.. Not sure we are id sign him.

His hands are terrible at times

Rorters have sealed up and signed Victor Radley to a four year extension tying him to the club to 2023.

They have also allowed Blake Ferguson to start talks with other clubs, and first on his list is Newcastle … Out-of-contract Sydney Roosters star Blake Ferguson has met with Knights coach Nathan Brown to discuss a possible move to Newcastle. Less than two weeks after the 28-year old lead the Roosters to a 18-16 win over the Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium, Ferguson returned to Newcastle and toured the club’s training base. Ferguson reportedly met with Brown over lunch to discuss the winger’s playing future.

Radley must have been signed up on hefty $$ contract extension.

Roster now full for 2018 with Mybe and Farah signing on this week, Kelly will have to wait for next year if at all.

I find this incredibly difficult to accept. Using Sironen in our squad this season when we're desperate for a centre just doesn't make any sense.

Sign someone from another club. AN experienced star, a young gun. Even promote one of our juniors (not that we have any centers close to FG mind you). First Suli and Milne sacked, then Fonua out injured and we have Naiqama left as our only centre option, who is already highly suspect.

We'd have to rely on MCK or Gamble to fill in for the rest of the season - which would be a huge risk.

Given the situation it just doesn't make sense not to use our final squad position

We should have 1 spot left. Some are saying we can claim Curtis Sironen is taking that spot but we don’t have to.

Given what was stated on Robbie's press release "Farah's signing along with that of Moses Mbye now fulfils Wests Tigers roster requirements for 2018" it would appear that we have closed up shop but if the Curtis Sironen option is available then this may not be the case.
