Absolutely. And he’s tall and fast, two things we’re lacking at the moment. Tupou would be a really good pickup for us.

Is he even off contract? I'm pretty sure the Roosters re-signed him for another 4 years at the end of last season.

Similar scenario to Mitch Pearce . He was signed then the Roosters signed Cronk so they released Pearce .

If the Roosters have 2 wingers coming they won’t be paying Tupou to play for Wyong .

Morris for Tupou isn't really an upgrade at his age and Tupou has been playing really well since he re-signed and come back from injury. If makes no sense they would just turf him out now.

Surely we could get one of the roosters 2nd rowers, Matterson would be my target. Only has 1 year left and Roosters have plenty of 2nd rowers on long contracts.

Matterson was one of the best edge forwards in the first 2 months this year until he got injured now he might be slightly out of favour with the roosters.

Check out Luke Garner’s performance today against the bunnies .. this will make us attractive to a lot of young talent from other clubs - we have given opportunity to a lot of young guys since Ivan took over the reins, most clubs are too busy poaching to look at their own nursery.
I agree that Matterson is very good and the roosters have nailed a dud in Crichton.
