Just read that to replace McDonald saints have signed Pearson from the broncos. He would have walked into any backline position in our team

He was a compassionate release to the Cowboys so we would never have been in the hunt.

Dragons are talking up their Aust Schools winger Saab as their future with Lomax. We got Cini from the Aust Schools so we're doing well.

For me Terepo and Tagataese fit our needs

Can't believe Brimson is unsigned , pure insanity if true

TPJ, Terepo and Oats fit our needs nicely and I'd happily take Luai as a bench utility with Xfactor as well. Those additions would boost our team immeasurably.

Tagatease has won premierships at Melbourne and Cronulla , big body , heaps of experience , and many thought at the time a good signing at Brisbane

Pearson would have been an awesome signing, but we have limited spots.

So lets just sign a bunch of reserve graders and we can upgrade a couple on long term deals near June 30.

Last year was the new dawn. Cap room, new coach, roster vacancies and we have blown it. I have never been more disappointed (being difference between expectations and reality) in 35 years of following some form of this club in various forms.

Terepo has re-signed with Parramatta until the end of 2020.
Ethan Lowe has seemingly taken up his option to stay with the Cowboys in 2019.
Fuimaono looks like he's off to the Panthers.
Vave is being pursued by the Knights.

Recruitment just continues to be a major disappointment. We have a handful of first graders then about 20 potential/fringe/old players. Squad is looking weaker than last years. Plus the added Cleary crap!

JJ Felise won't be re-signed by knights via Barry Toohey of Newcastle Herald.

He's a big disappointment, showed a lot of promise the first few games he played with us, then went down hill from that.

Pretty disappointing for JJ. He turned down a 2 year contract offer from Souths to go up to Newcastle to try and earn a contract for next year. Was a gutsy move that looks to have backfired. It’s a shame he hasn’t kicked on. Hope we aren’t saying the same thing about Mikaele in 2 or 3 years.

Yep, plenty off contract and money to spend for this season for the first time in yonks, plus Siri off the books this coming year as well. Yet here we are with only two confirmed spots open after filling a couple for another year with two very aged former stars.

The coaching farce just tops it all off and we can only hope that there is some light when it is finally beyond conjecture.

For us to get some big signings this coaching saga needs to be sorted. Potential players need to know who the coach is and I don’t think anyone can answer that at the moment.
