Not coming here then.
That’s good, okay he can play, but would have cost us a motza and there is a big injury cloud hanging over him. We have to save the big dollars for a player who is about to hit the top of their game not one who is on the slide
Sorry SuperCoach- not having a dig at you here **but gee, what player is good enough?** According to us they’re either too slow, too small, a plodder, past their best, untried, can’t defend, can’t attack, not a good bloke, too nice a bloke.
Let me tell you - Wade Graham would make our top 17.
One that isn’t approaching 30, halving just come off a knee reconstruction. He has “yesterday’s hero” written all over him. For as many people saying he’d be a bad signing, there would be just as many calling him a bum and berating the club for signing another has been.
Maybe we should think about players at the 30 age range, Gallen is still playing at 37\. If he came to us 4 years ago wanting a 3 year contract (at a reasonable price) how many would have said no?*
Flipping the issue, I don't think our injury management plans are as good as other teams. Were building our 'center of excellence' while the Roosters can have 3 people massage an older player to health.
Can we manage tridecadodians as well as our younger players? I think us tigers have a weakness
* Ok there are personal reasons. But Gallen as a forward has performed very well for the sharks past 30
