What a stupid idea

Load the CC side and win a premiership that way

It's funny , I look at modern day athletes and their contracts ....

And then I remember the scene from the movie Major League when Corbin Bernsen comes up and says his contract specifically states he doesn't have to do any unnecessary exercise

And the manager reads the contract ....drops it on the ground , whips out his breeding stick and empties his bladder 🤣

That is how it should be too

Veteran journalist Brent Read revealed Watene-Zelezniak could be on as much as $800,000 a season.
The Panthers will reportedly have to chip in a large chunk of his salary to play at another club next season.

It is believed the Eels and the Cowboys are interested in his services, while the Tigers can’t afford him under their salary cap, despite his close relationship with Kiwis’ coach Michael Maguire.

I'm glad we are not willing to pay that ridiculous amount for a winger unless the Pamfers pay 90% of it...

I'm hoping the recruitment policy is one of offering what Madge believes a player is worth ..if they want more..fine...next..

@Roar_Power Willow has big wraps on French.

I'll be driving to the gap...

Long way to pine gap

Take Geo with you ....come back alone if you like

The only reason you'd want Bevan French here is to run water out or the kicking tee

Possibly as a sprint coach .....remove his legs and give them to Jennings or Fonua

What a waste of money if Parra signed DWZ, considering they just re-signed Gutho. The Cows are a good fit for him imo.

Would take Whare and Kikau thanks...

This was always on the cards with Penrith. They're squad was absolutely stacked, and the common belief was that they could not keep them all. But then they'd re-sign one, and another, and another, and another etc etc. Incompetent cap management. Not thinking about the future at all.

And just how are Parramatta able to afford that? I thought they had cap issues? Somehow their cap issues never seem to stop them from signing anyone. Jennings must be retiring, it's the only way they could afford DWZ and also actually fit him in the team.

If the numbers are to be believed i'm surprised they could sign DWZ even with Jennings retiring.
