Capewell 6th has and 83% 53missed / 372 made, 107 run meters per game
it is a little concerning but im taking him every day of the week over huth, rowdy, cheekam, garner, mcqueen

This would be the 2nd time Capewell has nearly joined us. Along with Christian Welch they are the closest 2020 signings we may have at the moment.
Very Close.

Is the club looking at options for the 9 jersey or are they happy with Liddle's progress

Or are we looking at a fullback with Mbye moving to the 9 ......

Madge has a lot of time for Liddle, being given every opportunity to prove he is worth a shot at the full time 9 job.
Liddle turned down a mid-season switch to the Bulldogs to repay faith.

Ideally lets hope he can find the Damian Cook that many of us hope lies is partially discovered within Jacob

To be fair, I haven't watched Capewell closely to judge him accurately but he strikes me as the typical, too small for the back row and too slow for the centres type of player.

Capewell is basically a bigger, much better, version of MCK.

Only question I would have if we get Capewell of why did we bother keeping MCK?

@WhiTe-Tiger 190ish cm and 100kgs is not small.man

Wiki has him at 93kg and sharks profile has him at 95kg. To me he just doesn't look the build of a modern day backrower. To me he has more the build of a centre.

While I don't doubt a better version MCK is 192cm and 100kg. So MCK isactually bigger.

@WhiTe-Tiger yep and why stats dont mean all that much tbh. Would you take nikora over cheekam and capewell? I would for sure and he is 185 and 95 kg

Nikora, IMO has much better footwork and speed then the other two.

IMO I don't believe another smallish backrower is what we need at the moment. Especially if Rowdy plays on.

Exactly. Eisenhuth is 6ft 6 and 110kg but he hits the line with the ferocity of a slightly moistened tissue.

@Madge He was in the Melbourne system for 2 years before joining the bunnies in 2018. Has had a bit on his plate mentally in the last year with his mother dying fairly suddenly of a brain tumour but seems to have potential.
