If Eels get Matterson the NRL are a Joke... This is a Team only 2 years ago that got caught Blatantly cheating the Salary cap and even worse kept hiding it from the NRL until the very end.. Now 2 years on they are in the finals with players like this - Junior Paulo, Nathan Brown, Blake Furgo, Clint Gutherson, Jennings, Mitchell Moses, Waqa Blake, Maika Sivo etc... All these players are on good money and they had trouble resigning Moses & Gutherson but they seem to be finding more funds for a RCG, Fifita and Matterson...

Sharks also fall under this statement as well..

I understand our backyard is our problem and except this but how can a club like the Eels turn it around in 2 years and a club like us is still trying to after 9 years....

Vent over but I am sick of losing the good players as we don't get many.

Our cap is a disaster. Not only did we pay way overs for Reynolds Packer, McQueen, Matulino, but we have them on three and four year deals all at once. Dumb as.
