Matt Moylan talk going around hmmm.

Yeah, a number of Sharks 'insiders' saying this.

If it is true, it HAS to be a swap for Josh...

If we had Josh AND Moylan next year = God help us. We'd potentially have millions sitting and watching each week. It would be a weekly race to see who could break down first.

Don't be surprised if out-of-sorts Shark Matt Moylan ends up at the Tigers in 2020.

I rate Moylan - but he managed just 11 games this season due to injury and many of those were disappointing.

The Sharks have salary cap issues and are looking to offload players - and with plenty of depth in the backs, Moylan may be tapped on the shoulder.

The Tigers, in contrast, are a bit skinny in the outside backs department and Moylan's versatility may see him get an offer from Concord.

So there is definately something with the cowboys and marsters and if it goes down it will be soon i am told. So the longer it plays put the less likely it is to happen.

That's the thing. If Madge can get him playing consistent he would be a great pickup. If we can ship out Reynolds and bring in Moylan it is a huge upgrade.

@avocadoontoast A few big 'if's' there. I see him as a bit of a primadonna and would not be suited to Maguire's coaching style. I'm generally suspect too when a player of his reputed quality is moved on. I.E. if he's so good why aren't they keeping him?

Not sure about Moylan - he seems a bit of a prima-donna, not so much of a team player as a guy who puts himself first. Usually when talented players can't settle anywhere, there is a personality reason behind it. Swapping out Reynolds for him on our roster, as some are suggesting, assumes we are willing to pay Moylan $800K a season. At that price I wonder if there is a player (or 2) that might be better suited to us.
