Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

@momo_amp_medo Well at his pay rate, a likely swap would be Reynolds for Arrow....and that outcome is definitely not Wests Tigers like.

That sort of deal could have happened with Brennan at the helm but I can't imagine Holbrook doing it.

I was told yesterday the forward we have signed is Capewell.

Capewell would be a very strong replacement for Lawry (no way you could have both of them). He is basically a bigger, faster Lawry................with the same hands. Drops them just like Lawry does.

Has the speed to play center, so would be a much better 'cover' option than MCK for 3/4 also.

And kicks at about 77 percent

On one of my many spiritual journeys to Tibet’s Holy man ..... I was told if I wanted to scale a mountain and reach its summit of life as a person I must remember to ..... “never look back but always to look forward”. Try it it may help you to, at times to remember and your life’s journey .... it did-does me?

@momo_amp_medo preaching to the wrong fella matey....but good luck with that!

Difference between preaching and just saying.
Well ..... I’ll just stick with the group trying to reach the summit. So don’t break a leg!

Actually Capwell is about the same size as Lawry, but a hell of a lot more mobile and faster.

Really would be a good replacement / like for like.

You could not have both in a team though imo. Same lines.

And...same hands.

@weststigers I wouldn't be surprised if Reynolds ends up at the Titans to assist with their change in culture among the playing group. He has history with Justin Holbrook.

Read in article Reynolds has a high opinion of Holbrook
won lower grade premierships with him at the Doggies
so who knows

So we call them and say: "Oh hey we noticed Josh Reynolds is on the same sort of contract as Jai Arrow. Swapsies?" And they say: "Hmm, overpriced, perpetually injured old 5/8 who no-one else wants versus one of the most promising middle forwards in the game. Where do we sign?"

Capewell would be an excellent buy. Blooded well for the last few years fast decent size and is a genuine edge backrower. If matto stays which sounds like a big if that is a real sizable mobile back row. Garner Capes and matto for mine thats impressive.

Very deep and meaningful @momo_amp_medo: well done 😛oint_up:
In keeping with the positiveness currently surrounding 'your feelings', and not wanting to take from that in any way, may I suggest Campbelltown is the summit for me, as Wests Tigers NEW fortress, followed closely by Gosford?
Have a great and positive day Momo

Look I definitely agree with you about Cambelltown and South West. In Ideal world we would merge with the Bulldogs to form a pretty powerful and financially strong corridor of fans stretching from inner west and hugging Liverpool road all the way to the freeway to our home ground at Campbelltown City. Sharing the redevelopment cost with the newly formed Macarthur FC organization could also provide great crossover benefits. There is also a great sports center of excellence there also. The NRL would be all for our total commitment to the area so that would also attract benefits and possible funding. Corporate support is a definite if we played that card. Local juniors commitment to the club and colors would also benefit from such a move.
So I ask you why do we stick to nomads status when there are so many benefits .... Bloody History mate (constantly looking back and not forward) .... that's what .... we have too many people nailed to Balmain Tigers Leichhardt and Wests Magpies Ashfield crosses.
So until such time as the NRL has the balls to give us an ultimatum .... locate fully to Cambelltown OR cease to exist .... we will continue to flounder.

Merge with dogs.

Never ever ever. I would rather us fold.

Whats this about??

If we merge with anyone else or relocate - i am out.

There was enough drama with 2 clubs merging - let alone three.

And the Dogs - get real Momo.

There would never be enough benefits - no matter what they gave us.

Sailor won't happen. His dad is negative about anything Tigers on the radio. Says we should relocate, says we are the worst run club.
They were talking about Jason Taylor one day and he was liked by everyone in the commentary team but Wendall. They asked why don't you like JT. His reply was " no reason"

The guy hasn't got one original thought.
