And at the bottom it also confirms Matterson has been officially released from the final 2 years of his contract.

The cynical me thinks that the WTF signing was going to happen tomorrow but then all of a sudden big Sam Burgess retires, followed by Gillette in Brisbane. Now Souths and broncos have money to spare all of a sudden and our tomorrows announcement is cancelled because said player now signs with Souths/Broncos.

That’s our luck.

That is exactly what I am very concerned about. We have however been negotiating with quite a few players over the past two months so I am carrying our hopes on the likelihood that the players we want have already committed to Wests Tigers

Really excited to see who we have coming our way. Pascoe said he wouldn't release him without it being beneficial to us.

Good form from Pascoe. He knew November 1 would be a very important date for Wests tigers yet he won't be in Australia. However it could be that the players we have put a priority on are already signed and ready to deliver to Wests Tigers.

Good form from Pascoe. He knew November 1 would be a very important date for Wests tigers yet he won't be in Australia. However it could be that the players we have put a priority on are already signed and ready to deliver to Wests Tigers.

He worked very hard for a couple of months after his suspension. He needs some time off.

Thanks for the update. I suppose it gives us all some more to speculate on what may or may not happen.... cause it’s going to be dull old time on here, once it’s all announced!

There is no doubt it was intentional to highlight the difference in class between the attitudes of the 2 players.Bens was lauditory while mattersons was like scraping dog droppings off your shoes

I dont like the talk of JWH.

Roosters are the smartest team in the NRL. They spend their money wisely and they dont pay over for old players.

Hargraves's best years are behind him. He is being moved on by a club that doesnt lose good players they want.

Just more of the same if we end up signing him. Over paid and best years behind him.

Hardly a way to build a future.

Anyhow there is so much crap out there with the signing deadline approaching. i think ill just wait to see who we actually sign.

I see his potential signing as very similar to that of the pair of mature front rowers signed two years ago and most were not happy with the results. Would rather a youngster myself, with enough experience already in place.

Also, doubt that he would be getting the same leniency judiciary wise when at WT.
