The only reason I’m not complaining is it probably would’ve been between Jai Arrow and Nathan Brown for a lock spot. Maybe might mean that we’ve missed out on Jai Arrow or he doesn’t want to come here and so we’ve gone for Nathan Brown. In that case I’d be happy, although I’d rather Arrow, if we couldn’t get him I’d be content with Brown.

Maybe might mean that we’ve missed out on Jai Arrow or he doesn’t want to come here and so we’ve gone for Nathan Brown. I don’t think you’re wrong. Played 13 games last year, 15 the year before that. He’s a step down on Matterson.

@tiga4eva Speak for yourself. I'm pleased with the signing. Was never expecting a David Fifita-esque purchase. I was quietly hoping for it to be Frizzell though. Brown's still a quality player

I’d equate a WTF moment to a Rep player, Brown is a good player, but I believe Matterson is better, so we’ve lost on this deal in my opinion

Not holding my breath on Arrow but I wouldn’t say this would rule any other signings in or out. If true, Brown could be effective off the bench. Bolsters the pack some and he would definitely bring some much needed aggression. He’s likely to be at an reasonable price point and possibly sweetened by Parra contributing for 12 months. Injury the concern.

Don't think Brown is the WTF signing, if that ever comes to fruition. But it would make sense that a few, like Willow, were excited about our future if Brown is one a few to land with us.

He gives us mongrel, that's for sure. I like the idea of him, Mikaele and Aloiai running at people. A signing or two more like that and we've got a dirty, tough pack.

Not many people would classify N Brown as a WTF signing. I’d be happy if he does sign with us but surely a WTF moment is someone a bit better.

To me a WTF signing would be a rep player that absolutely no-one would expect to sign with the Tigers.
