Given its always been acknowledged that Madge is very savvy with his cap, I can't possibly see how he would sign Mitchell for a million plus when others are pulling their offers. It makes no sense to me.

I agree, but if everyone else is pulling their offers, then surely Mitchells price will have to drop a little.

For skill and ability he's probably on par with anyone else in the competition and would immediately boost the club on and off field. Personally I think he will stay at the Roosters despite the reports, they don't normally let stars like him get away.

I would probably prefer that too but you take what you can get and (for this club) it's probably easier to land one signature than two...I think Latrell will go to Souths though.

Just because we have some money now in our war chest to spend .. I really hope we dont blow it all on one player .. !! Players gone .. Farah, Matulino, Fonua, Matterson, Gamble, Rochow and Marsters. So we will need to either get a few new players or upgrade a lot of juniors .. !!
