Good God. Hopefully, surely a Canterbury Cup signing only. He's not good, he's constantly injured and we don't need a backup fullback, we already have 2. Sign Hiroti, not a waste you'd space like him. At least release Smith of we're going to sign yet another backup

@balmain-boy why ? He’s a fullback who is young who will take one of the 6 ,YES 6 , spots remaining in the squad .
He’d take 100k (minimum wage ) , so that leaves 2 mil , now across 5 players .You sign musgrove as well for minimum wage , and now you’re cooking with gas . That’s 1.9 mil across 4 players.
You now can 2 players offer players 700k- 1mil , which may or may not bring it in at 1.6 mil .
That’s now 300k across 2 players to round out the squad .
Am I missing something ????

Surely this is just a CC player so that we can fill a spot on minimum contract. Hopefully 1 season to give ourselves a good position to pick up some quality for next season then full blown pursuit for 2021 with our war chest!!

hopefully he's bee a zelezniak type of signing that keeps the first graders fighting for their spots and not just assume they get them every week

Every time I read your posts, and @gallagher , as well, it’s always negative.
How is this team not light years better than the one from 2 years ago ?
Sure we had , teddy woods and Moses , but at no stage did you watch them and think , yep I really like watching this team .
The first few weeks of the Cleary regime and everyone was making comments like “it’s been a long time since I’ve watched a tigers team I can truely get behind “ .
To act like it’s still 2017 and Taylor ball is in full affect is , to b honest , BORING .

So we don't need upgrades in our forward pack , but we need a bloke who has never played fullback at NRL level

I call it as I see it , it might be simply easier for you to put me on the foe list

Might help also if you take your black , white and gold sunnies off occasionally ..... this club has the worst record of any club that has been playing since 1999 and hasn't made the 8 for longer than any current team

Many of our supposed saviour signings have been jumping off the bus , injury prone , or way overpaid

Very clever move. Improves our negotiating position with Lattrel and AJ. Here is the offer if you can find better good luck, but we are not going to pay stupid overs. We have the more than capable Brad Abbey to cover the fullback position.

Let’s be honest, WT wouldn’t be anyone’s first choice.
But what if 1-2 other stars were part of it? Then we might have an exciting revolution happening here.

I literally laid it all out in another post! If you can score a Brad abbey type for 100k whilst pursuing 2 x A list recruits . That’s a good thing !
There’s only so much cap space to go around !
At this point , it’s pretty clear we need at least 2 front line stars! That’s at least 1.4-1.6 mil !
How is it ,do you think we fill the remaining squad positions , if we have 2 mil and 5 -6 positions ????
