Even if it is done late today and the club decide not to announce it until Monday we're not exactly going to get tweets from Pascoe or Lee saying 'yipee! got him!' at 5pm this arvo.

They've probably only just arrived in Taree now, or may still be on the road. With the fires there's a lot more unknowns. Sometimes the fact there hasn't been an article for a few hours isn't a bad thing. The journos are all guessing via second hand sources... Though it wouldn't surprise me if some are camped out around Taree looking to grab a photo of a meeting etc.

I can't remember who mentioned and whether it was or wasn't on the Forum , but heard they found it was far worse after surgery than initially suspected

i agree wholeheartedly, if we sign Latrell. Although that is a BIG if.

If we don't i'm sure we won't make the 8 until 2021

Do you really think that in this day and age they are driving all the way to Taree, when they can be there in a hour by aeroplane!!

How many flights a week are there between Sydney and Taree? I don't know but I'd guess not many, maybe 1-2? Many regional airports are closed due to all the smoke around being too dangerous to fly. Airports at Coffs and Port are closed, so I'd imagine Taree is closed too. Roads are also closed but there are at least other roads and detours one can take

Roosters have already said they won't release LM to the rabbits.

@Bathursttiger2 The highway to Taree was closed for most of yesterday and only reopened briefly. It has been closed for most of this week. With the fires starting up again it could be closed again. Port Mac airport had a lot of cancelled flights too.

Who says anything is dragging on?
No doubt WT management and Mitchells manager are taking their time to get it right. If getting it right means WT management decide not to sign Mitchell then so be it. They will obviously have their reasons. As will Mitchell if he decides not to sign with us.
