Apparently Alex Johnston is a tiger, I think he's not much of a upgrade on Thompson if he is to play fullback, and I would rather have Thompson as he gives his 100% for the club. so he's spot is the wing where he will have to battle with Nofoalula and momo to start

Momo is first pick for the centres IMO.

How probable is the prospect of AJ sitting in the grandstand for more games than he plays? I’m pretty sure we don’t give prospective players a full medical prior to signing contracts. I can recall a manly player clocked up around 30 minutes of game time over 2 full seasons. How many games has a certain ex bulldogs half played? Just like AJ these guys were one club players who have reached their use by date and come to us on big money to watch the lower paid players. Something tells me that meniscus issue won’t go away. If there is no cartilage and bone bruising sidelined him a second time last year, can we expect a different result in 2020? If so why?

The only players far as I know Madge was interested in bringing to the WTs were Dallin Watene-Zeleniak and most recently L.M (both most likely to fill the fullback position) and the only connection to Lomax was Madge was seen in public having lunch with him.

None are outstanding options at this stage. Simpkins should hopefully have the job by round one next season.
