You can kill me if I'm wrong but as of this afternoon, from training, the predicted starting backline is 1.Mbye/ M johns, 2 Nofo/Bradley, 3 Momo, 4 BJ, 5 Jennings, 6 JR, 7 Brooks.
Talau training at 4 but will start in CC. JL for certain expected next week. Talau advised not NRL until at least round 6 as some concerns. Reece Hoffman more forward than Talau. Not sure what concerns re Talau. Douhei not even a consideration but JL expected next week. If not JL, Jennings at centre. Walters first choice hooker, Mbye and JR have trained there but as insurance as Walters is preferred starter.

$400,000 and playing in a top team and being coached by Bellamy

So bench player for $600,000 at South's

Or into the starting side for $400,000 and staying in sydney

Or pack up and move to Melbourne for $400,000 A season

He will know Smith is leaving
Addo-Carr is leaving
Vunavalu is leaving
And Bellamy is probably leaving

So probably deciding wether to stay at South's where he can't prove himself
Or
Move to tigers where he has every option to improve his game under Madge and stay in Sydney

I don't understand why a budding superstar is looking to lock in a 4 year 500k deal. Surely if his is that good his manager would be looking to get him a contract with a decent club where he will stand out for a couple of years, then in 2 years time he could demand the million dollars that top line players receive.

Not sure what to make of the defensive nature of some of the responses, but a very good question re Matto & Stef. It now appears to me that Eels did a very good job of keeping Stef a secret. I’d also like to pay some credit to our recruitment team , once they were able to talk with big Stef they moved swiftly and had him signed before the 22/November. I think we are going to look back one day and agree this signing to be of historical significance.

Can you provide the direct quote from Arrow in relation to this ?

There is a massive difference between Internet gossip and reality. Internet gossip isn't something to get worked up about.

Even if he said that who cares. We have a decent team who in my opinion look to be on the way up. There aren't quick fixes to win the comp. If a player doesn't want to come here great. There are plenty of players who want to be here.
