Packer was back to his best amazing what happens when a player is injury free

Everybody thought Packer was doomed and would only play CC on big money...he had a shocking injury in his foot that took surgery to get right and hopefully we see the results of an injury free top quality forward helping us win games this year and next...he shows great leadership skills and the youth in the side take notice..

JAC was a Reserve Grader when he came to us. And he was yet to even make his first grade debut when he signed with Storm

Not quite true. He'd played 4 FG matches when he officially signed with Storm. His debut was Rd 7 2016, which was April 17th. He announced with Storm on 06/Jun/16, which was the day after our Rd 13 loss to Roosters, JAC's 4th match.

I grant you it's possible JAC was negotiating with Storm before 17/Apr/16, but we'll never know.

JAC the smelly rat admitted on Matthew Johns Show last year that he had already agreed to sign with Storm before he had debuted for WT. He had a good chuckle about it. Wouldn't want the slimy flog back at WT after seeing him think his treachery was a great joke. The bloke's a knob.

WTs failed to secure him when he was at the Club. If you have a family/children security goes a long way. It is a failure of our club. Would you leave Ponga unsecured in ISP?

Hodgo was a very good footballer but i think tedesco has it over him and Jack for toughness and Brasher for skill in a crap side although Hodgo was tough and could kick goals purely on wests tigers players tedesco gets my nod

Teddy is a better player than Jimmy Jack, but no one had it over Jack for toughness.
Best defensive FB I have ever seen.

And tough...remember v Norths he lost two teeth, bent down and put them in his sock and played on. Legend.

He might be a better player but he doesn’t come close to being the better person.....

I hope we start locking down some of our boys soon. Madge might be hesitant to do it in case they get complacent after getting extensions but Nofa, Aloiai and a few others will be targeted by other clubs come November. Hopefully their love of the club keeps them here.

Staggs or Coates in that order..a quality centre that can beat his opoosite ocassionally.
Still need to find a speedy winger too
CWN is become less critical (and more expensive!)by the week...but Eels may change that!

He's been switched between fullback and both wings. For the right price and under Maguire's coaching, we could see LL type improvement which would make him an asset.
