Not writing 2020 off by any stretch, but with the additions of Blore, Stefano and Kepaoa, next seasons lineup has some size about it:

Pretty impressive pack and bench when they are all playing at their potential.

It would be good to hang on to Eisenhuth, Big Mac and Clark too I think. Need balance and cover for injuries and these guys will all step up and play a role.

Im gonna say that we wont have Packer or Reynolds next season .. I reckon they wont be with us anymore.

We need a better fullback .. Doueihi has been kind of safe .. but he aint a fullback .. was found wanting last night .. out of position, his defence is subject, very poor attempt to tackle RCG when he went on to score .. maybe in the centres for him .. ?? Isn't Kepaoa a fullback/centre/winger .. ?? need someone with more speed at the back and someone who can read the attack and defend better .. !!

His attempt to tackle RCG wasn't as bad as Josh A's non attempt - that is where the gap was.

But that's the killer three errors in one play = trytime

Dropped ball on Eels' line shifted momentum which we never regained. Bad habits re-emerge under pressure from top 4 team. Ditto Nofoaluma and defence.

I wonder what Madge’s plan recruitment wise will be now. Looks like our forward pack is just about complete for next season, maybe need a second rower and hopefully we keep McIntyre/Eiso.

We have depth in our back line but I don’t know if you can keep Mbye there, maybe sign a quality winger and shift Talau to centre?

We need a quality half very badly. Brooks and Benji don’t seem up to controlling a game.

Didn't I read somewhere that Talau was a 5/8 coming through the grades?

He was but he seems a bit big for a half. I think
He’ll be much better suited at wing or centre

He's big but could be a real handful as a running half.

Maybe a jack Wighton style half. Have never seen him much passing and kicking so no idea if he’s any good

We need to win our next three really. Warriors and dogs should be easy wins. Knights will be tough but we can do it. Gonna need other teams to drop points

Very talented 6 coming through the grades. He has grown in size in the past two years and is probably a bit big for the halves now. Has great footwork and ball playing skills which will translate to other positions. In saying that, i wouldn't mind seeing how he goes at 6 in the NRL given how dominate he was there coming through.

Had his first season at centre last year in Canterbury Cup.

I think Talau could be an exceptional centre, he reminds me a lot of Matt Gidley how he moves & always seems to get his hands free.

1. Doueihi - not convinced he's a fullback, but he's signed up til end of 2023 (on around $600k). Is he our future 5/8? Fullback?
2. MBye - signed up til end of 2022 on big fullback money (around $950k), but I don't know where he fits either?
3. Reynolds - signed up til end of 2021 (around $750k), again, is he our 5/8 this year and next?
4. Brooks - signed up till end of 2023, (not sure on how much). Is he our halfback going forward? I suspect we need better, and if we have him there, we need a better 5/8 than what we have.

Imo, I'd try hard to convince Reynolds to go elsewhere in 2021, keep him if we must.
Need Doueihi and MBye to be our fullback and 5/8, though I'm not sure which one should be which.
Brooks, fingers crossed he can pick himself up and get back in the run on side.

Spine definitely needs work. Doueihi has been great besides last night so happy for him to stay there, he’s only played 10 games at fullback in first grade.

Wish we could offload Mbye. Just doesn’t offer enough in any position. I see him as a half but he didn’t stand out there at bulldogs either. If we could sign a good winger or centre and move Mbye to the bench I think our team would be a lot stronger

Brooks, Benji and Reynolds aren’t halves who will lead you to finals in 2020 and after I think. They all lack composure and game management and it’s probably our weakest area at the moment. I think Liddle and Simpkin will go fine at hooker.

Not many good halves around at the moment. Young guys will take time to adjust to first grade as well. Brooks will need to find his form again if we are any chance

Sounds like Titans could get Fifita after all. $3.2million over three years. Some reports saying $3.5 million, would take a 1 million dollar pay cut to stay at broncos

Douehi has been playing injured for weeks but fit he is our fullback for mine. We obviously need to find a way to keep Harry but our halves are the biggest concern. I think we obviously need one more year out of Benji and prob Brooks his partner but we need to find a replacement but lucikly with Reynolds and Packer off contract the end of 2021 we can go to market for a top class half to replace Benji. In saying that we will have to upgrade a lot of the young guys too so packers money prob just gets dispersed amongst the younger players

What's his injury? Those two shoulder tackles seemed odd.

I think the Tigers should sign Phoenix Crossland. He is a halfback and has way more upside than Brooks. Mitchell Pearce is running the Knights and he won’t play. It would allow Brooks to take control for one more year but the kid will take over. I’d like to see Crossland at 7 and Brooks at 6.

Has a fair few wraps on him, I have never seen him play, but we have to try something, because doing the same thing every year has got us out of the 8 for way too many years, ego's will be hurt, but you need to break a few eggs to make a good omelette
