Wonder when he’ll be in the top squad, next year or 2022. Glad we are keeping him, very highly rated

Would assume next year. With the amount of development players a team can have we have to be smart with who we chose. Probably allows for someone like Zane Camroux to be picked as one. Will Kei will be fast tracked and rightly so. He is a great prospect.

Mikey Tannous, Zac Camroux so I wonder how positionally this will play out in the future seeing as both are 5/8s with a lot of potential from what I’ve read.

This makes me scared

What’s scary about it? Sounds like smart management to me. It’s interesting that Benji isn’t eligible for the veteran allowance, lots of people just assumed he was. Using that money on Nofa is smart.

It also makes it interesting for Brooks. Brooks resigned for $300k cap space as opposed to $500k makes him attractive for another year for me

Brooks not in contention for Origin despite having Freddie in his pocket.

We will probably lose one to the Roosters and one to Melbourne if recent form is anything to go by with this club.

One will play left side, the other right side. Don't get caught up on numbering. I like to see halves work together on both sides of the field.

There is also Tyler Field whom is a very good player.

All I’m thinking is that we’ve got a lot of outside backs for next year, some who probably won’t even play first grade (Bradley, Cini) and we could be signing more (JAC/Staines) so I would think he would be on a development contract so we aren’t full of outside backs. We need depth forwards more than anything

He looks 30 in that pic, it even looks like there is some grey in his hair.

Can't see how we fit Kei in our top squad unless we are offloading Bradley or Cini. Would seem like a development contract makes sense, but they're usually more than a one year deal.

take it with a grain of salt

**BREAKING NEWS!
Over a month ago I was first to break both stories, as I made contact to a storm’s official who had notified me that Josh Addo-Carr will be at the Wests Tigers in 2021 as a guarantee, for a few months now I have said that the club were favourites over Souths and Bulldogs but little over a 2-3 weeks ago I was told it’s a near certainty and it’s all but done!
Along with despite rumours saying otherwise, that Christian Welch will knock back big $ Sydney offers to remain at the Storm which seems to also be a certainty!
I’ve now been given word, that the club are looking at Israel Folau as a big money signing to bring him back to where it all started as they’re expected to have large cap space if Smith departs which is still very much in the air however..... bringing in Folau as a potential centre/wing I’m assuming which would be monumental!
My source had also made it clear that the Melbourne Storm regardless of any request to leave that Brandon Smith will not be released.... however very strong interest stemming from the Bulldogs, Wests Tigers and New Zealand Warriors!**

That was from 'the forgotten man' on facebook several days ago...

His management advised he will be in the NRL squad.

Yes but currently he;s in the CC squad. Being a dev player puts you in the extended NRL squad.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking they might get rid of someone else to fit him in. Simpkins development contract was only one year so his could be too maybe.

I’d say if he comes into the top 30 it means we’ve missed out on stains and saab....JAC, AJ and kei will still be nice additions to the backs imo...when you think about it Thomo and Jennings were starting in our back 5 at the start of the year...yes we’ve tanked this year again but the roster is certainly improving and the duds are slowly going...for me the only really dud players left after this year will be packer, grub and chee oh and Bradley

Who's a naughty boy then ....JAC at the WT's in 2021

No.

Apparently neither of them are interested in going to those clubs.

so Tannous, Kei and Hoffman development players by the looks of things for next year. I remember a few months ago Jaycob Anjoul was reported to have signed a 3 year deal via The Mole? wonder if he's the fourth.
