Anybody seen him play for us and have a comment. Seems we could do with him fight now.

John Sila (mid-season signing from Bulldogs until 2015)

With Loko joining Canterbury’s already stacked ranks of outside backs, 21-year-old Sila became available and the Tigers have snapped him up. Yet to make a first grade appearance, Sila’s astonishing record of 42 tries in 33 Holden Cup appearances for the Bulldogs was enough to get him an opportunity at Concord.

Seems to be in the Tuiaki mold and style, except with a bit of footwork.
Very strong, and very fast. He can definitely find the tryline.
Some people have said that his defence isn't good but from what I've (and thats only 2 or 3 games) it isn't that bad, certainly no worse than some of the others that have played in our backline this year.

Sila was an NYC star, very good in attack.

There has been question marks on work ethic and has alot of development to go through before being a first grader.

Potential though.

Koro has proven himself that he is NRL worthy despite those who say he has a weakness in defense.

So if Sila is suppose to be a replacement, then hopefully he is given the earliest opportunity to prove himself next year in the NRL, otherwise it was pointless in letting Koro go if there wasn't a real intended replacement.

Not ready, good with ball in hand but can't defend to save his spot. Lazy with bad reads and then won't chase once beaten! Also very slow to turn and retrieve if the ball is kicked behind him. Needs to apply same attitude he has when running with the ball when in defence IMO. I saw him play in Ron Massey for Auburn and not much has changed with his attitude. Maybe next year with some serious hard work in pre season.
