Simona and Rankin did their jobs. The problem is that we play two 5/8ths when we shift left - Moses and Teddy. This crowds that side of the field meaning Simona and Rankin never get the ball with space.

I question whether Rankin should be playing firsts. He certainly hasn't set the world alight and doesn't look comfortable on the flanks but he is the least of our problems. The biggest problem is how do we get Brooks to rediscover his best form. If he doesn't, Im keen on seeing Moses play a more dominant role and that may mean a less dominant partner in the halves.

Number 1 priority is for Teddy to inject himself in the line more sparingly. It is just too predictable at the moment and our backline lacks penetration and teams know that all they have to do is slide.

I would have no issues playing Rankin at 5/8th & Moses at halfback.

JAC could be terrible in NRL but it at least gets us excited because of the size & speed factor. From all reports he has been training the house down as well.

Wrong place wrong time is correct.
He should have been playing Fullback or in the Halves in State Cup on Saturday, rather than Wing in NRL today.

Tedesco is a finisher, he needs to be set up by his playmakers. And obviously maths isn't your strong point, he saved 2 certain tries so that's another 12 points to go with the 8 they scored

He definitely saved 2 certain tries that i can remember the Radradra tackle which he was certain to score and holding Jennings up over the line = 8 points for sure and maybe 12 points if the conversions go over.

Brooks plays like this 95% of the time, injury or no injury. I don't see a difference between this game and a normal Brooks game.

Nofa / Kev combo - it looks brilliant, it works.
However, the other side of the field - does not.

Simona is a gun centre and has always lacked a lethal outside man.

Richards was slow / not creative other than kicking.

We need to ditch the Rankin experiment and let Josh Addo-Carr jump in and have a go.
Otherwise we really need to recruit a solid winger than can finish.

Put in on JTs Facebook Feed, he might actually read it.
I agree, Rankin is OK at best, if he was kicking goals for us I would at least leave him in the side for that reason BUT.
He hasn't done too much wrong for me to throw daggers at him but I agree, we do need someone in that spot making a bigger impact.

I will eat my words and praise him if he starts to find the line otherwise I will stick to what I have typed today

I think he made a line break in the Titans game and he had a poor turn of speed , he's to small and skinny , he's always getting dominated in the tackle .

Watch the replay. Rankin was standing shoulder to shoulder with Tedesco when Tedesco threw it to the wing. He was about five metres out of position, again.

His positional play and speed are below NRL standard. I would bring in Addo-Carr this week against his former club the Sharks. I would put Chee Kam on the wing in front of Rankin.
