Sironen or Lovett?

Siro was plodding for most of season before his neck injury but I think he has had a real dig in his last two games. Behind Teddy he was probably our next best last night. Lovett has been thrown in at the deep end and is struggling but you never know he might kick on next year. The fact the club has no cap space will probably see him running around again next year so lets hope he has a massive offseason

My understanding is Lovett is off contract at Seasons end.
We have no idea what the Club has in mind with players off contract.
We can't even afford Pie warmers

Lovett by a looong way…Top 5 tackler in the NRL isnt bad for a rookie.. 40 tackles last night...even though Tiges website has him listed at 10 (they have his and Cherringtons mixed up)..Sirro played his best game ever but he's not consistent

Sirro. Both young with a lot to learn but sirro has shown enough to be picked ahead of Lovett
Lovett's a worker and plodder. Sirro made 30odd tackles last night and has shown some ability with ball in hand - Lovett has not.

Have yet to see Sironen stick one arm out a few metres from the line and expect an opposition player to run into it and fall to the ground.
Unfortunately have seen Lovett do it on a few occasions.

Agree dazza65,Sirro has had more nrl games than Lovett and probably should have had more except injuries have plagued him.For all the people that knock Lovett,I will give him a bit more time to gain experience and learn from his mistakes,he has potential but it needs developing,he is still young but has a workhorse approach about him..Sirro will be a very good footballer in another couple of years, especially if he stays injury free,he has an abundance of ability…

It was Sirros 50th game last nyt
why no fanfare??? Cause its taken since 2012 to reach this milestone
Lovett is a rookie playing his 16th game & topped the tackle count on the park 40 tackles Not that ud know if ur looking at Tigers website they have his stats mixed up with Cherrinton Cant even get stats right Imagine what Lovett might be by his 50th game

I thought Sironen was the sole reason our right hand side defense improved. He played really well, ran out of steam a bit at the end but stands out in our pack as someone who can go to the next level.

Can see him improving enough to be in and around the Oirgin team in a year or two.

As for Lovett well anyone a fan of the Walking Dead, once he gets tired its all arms.

He is a zombie plodder.

Agree 100%

Sirro you always notice during the game when something goes his direction in defense or attack. He does make a difference most times in defense, very hot and cold in attack. With the reduced interchange and a stable center with him he will come into his own and will offer us something of value.

Lovett on the other hand you never really notice until it's too late and I just can't see what development value he will have with us.

All teams needs a player who just works their butt off and fills gaps all over the park but Lovett isn't that for us. He might get there in 2-3yrs but we can't have him in the top grade for the next 2-3yrs whilst he develops.

Sironen made our right side look solid in defence. He is a significantly good backrower , Lovett is a NSW cup player playing FG and working damm hard so much respect but Sironen would be in FG at any club in the comp, he hits hard in defence, makes meters after contact in attack and just needs to get better ball and will be a star

Personally I'd get rid of both.

Me too.

I love it when people like you too come out with crap like this.
Sirronen will represent his state and country multiple times.

Cant wait to dig this up and remind you in a few years.

What arrogance. And if he doesn't, can we dig your post up and remind you that he never did?

Sironen by the length of the straight. He needs a proper injury-free season to really kick on to the next level, fingers crossed that happens next year.
Lovett looks like a fish out of water and I wouldn't bother making him an offer for next season.
