Rowe and Akauola have played first grade this year… One is a fullback/winger and the other is a centre/backrower.

@GNR4LIFE said:What? I'm not criticizing him just stating a fact. The guy isn't a superstar, just a solid first grader. And its posts like yours that prove my point that the kid is a protected species in some sections of the supporter base.
@tig_prmz said:siro was rubbish today and this is because he's being made to play 80\. if we wanna roll with the bench of 3 props and a backrower, both starting backrowers will have to play 80\. siro is not yet good enough for the 80\. potential is def there imo

Protected species from some supporters and… not protected from others? Makes it about even doesn't it?
If his name was Curtis Smith he wouldn't come in for the same criticism he cops on here. He's certainly a first grader and he is coming along, not setting the world on fire, but too good for NSW cup. I think that is the argument of the supporters.
Because it's far to easy to come on and say "he's crap, he's living off his Dad's name" when he is the only player in the team for whom that argument can be made. Plenty of average performances today, why single out just Sirro?

Find one quote from me where i've ever said he's only in first grade cos of who his father is, i dare you. As i have said over and over, my curiosity is with those who have labelled him a future Australian rep.

@Tiger Watto said:I agree Sirro… I cant fathom why he was granted a starting position considering the complexity of the role second rowers play in todays game.
I get why you feel NSW Cup is a better option firstly, but I doubt he will learn anything down there considering how far a gap there is with Structure between NSW Cup & NRL...
100% support him learning his role, but it should be off the bench!

@innsaneink said:But hes always been first one picked….nothings ever a problem when your name is sironen...his old man holds a LOT of sway
@tig_prmz said:True but I would still prefer Blair a seasoned first grader possibly at the peak of his performance to play the 80 than Siro. He's not even 21 yet. Brooks and siros combination needs a lot of work. It can be done at training not necessarily in do or die games as we have from here on in.
I know Blair has killed it in the middle **but I would have Blair on the edge when sue comes on**. It's not good management when you have 9 forwards in the team but a 20yo is still playing 80 minutes.
