Both have tweeted within the last hour.

Sirro surgery in 2 weeks and then get ready for 2013.

Lawrence has tweeted he is out for 6 weeks but is hoping to get stuck into rehab to get back earlier.

Hopefully he will be in at lock, he is not fast enough for 5/8 IMO, He should start on bench for the next couple of years then anasta will have retired and he would have learnt alot from Anasta then he will be our lock.

The interesting part will be Sirro's time frame for a return. Will he be fit for trials?? Or will it be longer?? Most likely will depend on how the surgery goes. Bummed about Lawry's news though. Was hoping it would be 2-3 weeks. Going to miss him big time and personally for himself, it's a shame it's happened now. His form was just starting to pick up again.

He's still young. His destiny in his own hands unless he inherited the injury gods. He is still ours next season.

This seems to happen every year we get players out during the end of the year. But hopefully we will hit some form with the remaining rounds left as they say you never know what can happen lol.

I don't think Sirro will be ready for trials. I suspect he won't be back until April/May 2013.

That would surprise me. Should be ready for contact in Feb, back playing March…..whether that be NYC or NRL is yet to be determined.

WTF is a high ankle strain

ankles be down the bottom, at least on my legs

considering a lawsuit against the football gods

When did Lawrence cop the injury? Was it when he made the break? Surely you can't get a major ankle injury by running on it 😕

Good question Barra I didn't see anything and the next minute I see Bowen go screaming past a limping lawrence

Wish we had some of the Cowboys speed 😛ray:

He was tackled by Bowen just before the line after he made the break from about halfway. I thought he was going to get there but then Bowen made a great tackle at the back.

He tried to play on after that and probably shouldn't have.

Do we know if Siro is having a full shoulder job or just a clean out. I f its a full shoulder job he will struggle to be up for round 1 2013

I would almost be tempted to Lawrence to save for 2013.
