Does anyone know if Skando is playing next season? and if so, will he be on a top 25 contract or a second tier contract?

As much as I enjoy watching him play NRL he would be great to have in the state cup with some of the NYC young props. Can't get much better on the job training than that!

He proved this season he's still good enough. I'd like to see him give it one more year. His experience is invaluable and we don't have a lot of experienced props. Importantly he was effective and while he's effective he's still valuable.

I think you will find him only wearing the maggies jersey in 2010.Especially if we snare Cayless and or Lima
I think Gower ,Shirnack & A Fifita will feature more regular if or when we come down with injuries in the forwards

Its a tough call to make both for him and the club. I think he's good enough and fit enough just the club may choose to look to the future.

Held his own this season. But still I would much prefer to see one of the younger guys from state cup get more of a run. They are the future.

IMO Skando > Payten this year.

In regards to holding onto him instead of a young prop, well, let's see how Fifita goes in the trials against some experienced first graders.

Skando was brilliant this year. That bloke plays with so much heart.

I'm with you Alex, I would play Skando before Payten. I'm sure looking at the Stats on both players, it will come up with the same conclusion.

I honestly beleive it will all depend on what happens with the Lima situation or any back up we have in place in case we don't get lima.

If we don't get lima I think skando could find himself in the squad at the very least.
he showed in 09 that he was still up to it, was still a crowd favourite and could probably go around at least 1 more time until some of the younger guys are ready to step up.
