So it comes down to this...

I am winning the work tipping comp by 3 points, and have been first for the majority of the season.

In the semis the games are worth double points (4), and I missed the Storm last week (bloody Manly!).

Only second can catch me, so I either need to tip the winner or we both need to tip the loser.

I think the dogs have the better pack, but the Storm know how to control and win these games. $500 voucher on the line….........HELP!!

Toss a coin. Heads Bulldogs, Tails Storm. Just about the best advice you are going to get.

Well your asking for opinions?????? But experience is the main thing with it , Smith , Cronk , Slater have won grand finals before, played big Origin matches and played for Australia , which The Bulldogs don't have .
You answered your own question then . Why ask for help :crazy

I am not being critical, not sure how you have interpreted my post? I was just reinforcing your argument. When you put the players up against each other then the storm do look stronger in the key positions. That's all I was pointing out.

I do want peoples opinions because I can't split them.

I apologise then . Manly had a bigger pack last week on paper as well , but Melbourne played them smarter . It's a tough won wouldn't be surprised if Doggies won either . Not a bad idea tossing a coin . I'm leaning towards Melbourne . Good Luck with your decision…

Find out who he is tipping and tip the same team? He will also be trying to tip the opposite team to you. He will tip the underdog assuming you will tip the favourite. That means he will tip the Dogs. So tip the Dogs.

Storm Look at the experience in the big games that Melbourne have

Highly underrated back row as well

Won't be surprised if its 13+ Melbourne actually

Melbourne will get them.

They will come to the game with a siege mentality and will be desperate to prove they deserve to win the comp legitamately. They also have the far better spine and plenty of strike weapons.

The dogs will lead early due to emotion and the huge crowd behind them but I really do think class will prevail. Smith, Cronk and Slater rarely lose big games.

I've tipped Storm by 8, but wouldn't be too surprised if the Dogs won! Good luck making the right decision!

Dogs have been consistent all season - only lost against Melbourne once, down in Melbourne. Dogs beat them in Mackay? (i think) and Melbourne was without Slater. Melbourne also welcome back a couple players and have named a 20 man team. Dogs unchanged team.
It's really a toss of a coin. But I can't see Dogs losing this one.

I don't see Melbourne losing this one. They'll control the Dogs big men and stifle their passing game and second phase play. The experience of the big three will also go a long way. I have a feeling that Reynolds and Keating will be overwhelmed, Ennis will lose the plot if his halves go missing and Barba will be relied on to create something out of nothing.

Manly were awful last week, but Melbourne didn't even give them a chance to get back in the game. Virtually no mistakes, good completions, numbering up in defence and kicking for the corners wore Manly down. The very same game will go a long way to beating the Dogs.
