Soccer is superior to Rugby League

As someone who played both sports Soccer takes far more skill to play then Rugby League. Anyone can pick up a footy & run hard & tackle but the amount of skill & talent you need to actually be good at Soccer far surpasses any skills needed to play league.
This is true. The sports were equally fun to play though

I grew up in a place where rugby league was a big deal, so I get the passion and the rivalries. But honestly, soccer and rugby each have their own feel. Rugby league is non-stop and intense, but after a while it can feel a bit repetitive. Soccer can be frustrating with all the diving, but when you watch a big game, like a Champions League knockout or a World Cup, it’s next level. The crowd, the tension, the skill, it all hits different. I’ve been to NRL and top-level soccer games, and live soccer is way more exciting in person than it looks on TV.

For big rugby matches, especially during autumn, there's actually a big demand for tickets. If anyone here wants in on the Autumn Nations rugby action, at https://www.seatpin.com/autumn-nations-tickets you can find autumn nations tickets with decent availability.

I'd rather watch paint dry than watch soccer. On a scale of watchable sports AFL > Basketball > Soccer > Synchronised swimming. AFL is fun to play but boring to watch, Basketball is fun to play but boring to watch, Soccer is fun to play but boring to watch. Never tried Synchronised swimming because I'm too afraid I'd drown. But I guess that would be fun to watch.
