I have a plate and four screws below my left thumb.
Sometimes it activates the metal detector as airports, then the hand held wands are used.
So I grab the security guard's hand, and run his fingers over the screw heads, which you can clearly feel, and never have any further issues.
the look on their faces, is worth the slight delay.

They are great creatures aren't they NT? I gather by your user name you are actually from croc mecca (Northern Territory). I was up there in July this year and also in October last year - had some great up close and personal encounters with crocodiles at Crocosaurus Cove and on the Adelaide River. I love em, my friends and workmates think I'm weird :laughing:
Btw, I had a little trouble deciphering your pic - eyes ain't what they used to be lol. Is that a croc hiding in the mud? How close were you when you took it?

The photo was taken at the East Alligator River. It is the body impression (mainly lower jaw) of about a 3.5m croc in the soft mud on the bank. If you look closely you can see the scale marks from it's neck.
If you're up here regularly, you should try to get up here at this time of year, Oct/Nov, and get out to Cahills crossing on a high tide. You can see in the order of 15 or 16, 3.5 to 4.5 meter crocs all feeding as fish come over the causeway. It's a real spectacle.

My girlfriend also loves crocodiles. She forced me to the reptile park on the central coast on our way back from our schoolies trip and i must say they are incredible creatures. Scary but incredible. Still don't understand the obsession though..
Back on topic, i love Nike's range of shoes and am a collector of them.
Just some trivia - It costs Niks 70c to make a pair and they sell them for between $100-300 each. Talk about high profit margins.
I also had the chance to possibly play in the NYC for the tigers, but my parents convinced me out of it due to the physical nature of of rugby league. I now play touch footy whilst watching former teamates carve it up in the NRL and wonder what could've been…

Yatala Pies are nice , but I reckon the Travellers Rest at Miriam Vale (big yellow building LHS as you drive into Miriam Vale ) are better and worse still the bakery at Port Douglas are brilliant
