SOO Game 1 2021 *Spoilers

I am amazed at the blame aimed at Qld coach Green. To my mind the coach has very little impact on the performance of the side , except for selections. We failed last year because of selections, they were ludicrous,. Qld dominated Origin because key players, Smith, Billy, Cronk and others had built up combinations that lasted for years. You can't possiblly do that with a half a dozen training runs , and with new additions to the squad, hence Bellamy made himself unavailiable.
At last NSW has realised, this is the secret, combinations are everything when you have a squad for only a short time.

When you think of the Townsville game the surface suited NSW to the ground ...fast ,quick , dry

2ndly ...there was no home advantage playing at The new Cows Stadium ...OK crowd support yes ...but neither team understands the stadium as much as they do say Suncorp , you don't have the mental damage that Suncorp has caused NSW over the years

Bringing Papalii and Ponga will help , but other changes have to happen

Mbye has to replace Capewell ....I'd move Capewell to the bench

Holmes has to be moved to the wing to replace Feldt

I'd replace Jo O with Capewell .....Jo spent as much time going backwards in attack as he did going forward and got eaten up defensively

Papalii has to come in as well ...probably replace Sua

We need to match your outside backs speed wise and to a lesser extent size wise

If I could find a another centre I'd move Gagai to the wing

Can this side beat NSW ...hope so .....but Qld couldn't play any worse ...but NSW probably can't play better ...and Suncorp is worth 10 points .....

I just dont like or support Freddy
I watched last night
To be honest at this point of my life and how the game has changed especially over this year alone, I am not excited about football like I use to be
The goal posts change to often and seem to disadvantage the lesser teams
It's just not the same any more

Understand where you're coming from regarding Freddy. Seems to go into 'normal' mode on Origin night but is an idiot every other time his smug face appears on TV.
