its the start of a new season all fans should be in full support of the club ,the new coaching staff , and the players the new board , now they will make mistakes that will be for sure all new people but we must give them the benefit of the doubt .now if they stuff up big time then we can go crook. but for the time being go tigers not a big fan of j taylor but I will give him all my support and I hope I have egg all over my face

JT to be given every possible opportunity to coach this great side without having his hands tied....

Last but not least the great supporters of this club,we are many,to come together in a spirit of hope and excitement during this season and being positive with each other,the young players will need us in a positive frame of mind ....the last thing Admin right down to the playing group need is negativity from us,if we do have a problem in any particular area,let's talk about it in an orderly manner....
Let's all embrace this new chapter of excitement which is upon us at the WTs,I promise you now there is going to be plenty of ups and downs,there is no escaping from that but let's be strong for our team and mostly for each other..... 😛ray:

The club more than anytime needs accountability , if we continue to let them let us down by underachieving without holding them responsible we aren't doing our jobs as supporters or members

I can deal with losing as long as they put it all on the line for 80 minutes 24 Rounds of the 2015 season

Just don't let the jersey down , that's all I ask

If anything we as a group of supporters are too soft and have put up with way too much crap for far too long.

Its time to demand more.

If that means upsetting the odd fan boy along the way so be it.
 
Happy,Flip and others,I was merely saying that some positive input coming into season 2015 would be a pleasant change compared to the bagging of certain players..I as always respect others threads,post,and opinions…Whilst I did not want people to change or differ their opinion because that is us,we are all different..
If you feel better venting and name calling players,forumers so be it..
On the point of wanting the team to give 80mins and be proud of the jersey,how did that go for you in 2012,2013,2014....did your constant critism help them out...hardly...So change was expected from board through to S&C,coach and players....
So my main point was..give 2015 season the chance to be the change we have wanted for quite awhile...FT,in his post asked me to let it be,why should I,it is after all my opinion and as you all have said we are entitled to it...my passion for a very successful club,the WTs is no greater or less than the people on this forum and if I feel that I would like to post my sentiment or offer an opinion so be it......

So, we've had Benji openly admit he played crap in his last couple of years, wasn't interested etc all those that bagged him were vindicated in a way…........................but we should have all supported him during this period anyway?

Sorry, but if the player doesn't have any respect for the club or it's supporters, then I don't see why we shouldn't be bagging out the player. Doing so is not about expecting change in the club, it's about venting.

And if the negative is not going to have any impact on the club how would us being positive have any impact?

Its got nothing to do with that TT

Your asking people , to switch off what they believe

I call it the way I see it , and as I have said a thousand times I won't sugar coat it

I have already said that I'm happy with what is happening off field so far , I just believe that it's going to be 12 months before we start to see the benefits

It won't surprise me to see a similar season to 2014 and I can live with that , as long as they don't turn their toes up at the first sign of trouble as has happened many times in the last 4 years

Fight every game out to the end win ,lose or draw and I'll be content

We desperately need some fresh ,quality blood in the line up as quickly as possible though
 
I can see what your saying Happy,and I reckon we all want the same thing,on field performance to match off field business performance from all and sundry…

I think 2015 Maybe a lot better than some of us expect,certainly hope so......
 
In the end - i guess it was both speculation and opinion.
Isn't that what the forum is for - great posts such as TT's. Inspiring indeed. Looking ahead learning from behind.

TT raises some very good points regarding how "emotional" AND "aggressive" some were in the Robbie threads of last year and there seems to be some who play the person and not the post so some o here seem to build up a stalker status where they only post when their "enemy" posts on the forum.No "jihad" needed guys lets agree to disagree and enjoy the fact that we live in a place where we can agree to disagree and we are all intelligent enough to do this and move forward.

However Happy you also raise the very good point of remaining positive when the club is letting us down on and/or off the field.This is the perfect place for us to 1.vent our frustrations and 2.Ask the hard and confronting questions about our club WHEN ITS FAILING.caps sorry.

Speaking of Utopia Flippedy I'm close at the moment BULA from Fiji. Got on a Westbus yesterday to see a local with a Wests Tigers polo shirt on, couldn't help but comment, got a thumbs up from him but then a few geers couldn't believe it people had the hide to disagree with my thoughts about the WTs 😕

Lol you should get some of the locals to sign up on here, that would make it even more interesting. Or better still, get the big ones to sign up for our three quarter line :laughing: Hope you're enjoying your time there mate.
