Agreed, but under the circumstances, he’d be negligent not to draw attention to it. I mean he got nailed in the back a couple of times previously. Whiplash can cause pretty bad injuries.
Defenders have got to stop taking them out.

Mate, they have been taken out late 3-4 times each. There are rules in place to protect playmakers and this game it seems to have been forgotten by both teams.

I have no issue with the sin bin on Cherry Evans. It was late. But the refs should.of sorted it then.

Don't get me started on the hip drop. Every time an attacker feels a slight breeze on the back of their legs they look to the sky and cry like they have been shot. The tackle is actually dangerous but if players start crying foul everytime, genuine.ones will be hard to separate.

Yes both can be manipulated. That’s why a blanket rule of penalty should be applied.
The onus is on the defender to not carry them out under pain of sinbin. Eventually they’ll get it through their thick heads.

Watching the games last night WT have no game breaker than can break the opposition and keep them rattled. Maybe if we had got Latrell Mitchell but geez, Nicho Hynes and DCE were superb conducters for their teams. Alas, we are stuck with Brooks and not a alternate game breaker in the current squad to take the heat off him. We desperately need to find, obtain and promote the next one. For once surely we can win with buying players on potential?

The cows are playing as badly as us. Lots of sideways play with no one going forward. Their halves aren't controlling the game like they did last year.

Though he didn't articulate it that way, (knowing Earl) I interpreted at him as saying given we're all somewhat aware of Brooks' weaknesses and strengths (and other playmakers in the team etc.,), certain fans have unrealistic expectations if they think he's capable of producing a million dollar performance.
