Big question is what happens to Grogu now? At the start of the Force Awakens all the Jedi are dead again. Would they kill off the best thing they have created since Disney took over?

Killed by Kylo Ren..

Do you think @happy_tiger shares DNA with Jar Jar Binks ?

The Hut lineage I think.

Thanks for bumping the thread, was starting to  feel bad about taking over the Netflix thread.

Yay guys that was awesome!!
Ngl have rewatched the final sequence at least a dozen times already - that and Chapter 13 were my personal highlights. I can only imagine how amazing it must've felt for anyone who experienced the Trilogy during its original release. You'd surely be feeling a little nostalgic today.
The Mandalorian has totally exceeded all expectations and IMO have done a great job with unifying the true vision of Star Wars. Felt Favreau and Filoni have totally recaptured the essence and magic.
Thanks to whoever shared to watch post credits as in my excitement I completely missed it ?
There's so many questions and I'm gonna completely ignore Kylo Ren... for now, as I'm still feeling all the emotions from the the clan of two splitting up and can't quite deal with that thought just yet.

I think we might find that series like this are the future of the franchise.

Better than the Star Wars 2.0 crap movies that have no new ideas.

We disagree @Geo. Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015), Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2017), Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker were terrible copies of the original trilogy. Just bigger special effects that really didn’t advance the story at all.

I agree with you but they were still great IMO

The Rise of Skywalker just was the original 3 movies rolled into 1..it will be interesting to see if they expand post..somehow tho I don't think they will...

I think a pre skywalker.... Old or High republic would be an epic trilogy..origins of the Jedi/Sith sort of thing..Mandalore Wars even..

Somehow I think they will stay within the Skywalker timeline with spin off's to known characters both from the movies and animated series...whatever they do for the big screen it's a licence to print money..

It is now, but the original trilogy was about the movie experience and telling a story. The Empire Strikes Back is still one of the best movie sequels of all time.

Better than the Star Wars 2.0 crap movies that have no new ideas.

No such thing as a crap Star Wars Movie...Even the pre-quels have grown since the Madalorian..

Did you watch past the credits?... set it up for Boba Fett series.

The Phantom Menace is really the only one I struggle with.

Cmon..now this is Pod racing..

I did have the pod racing game on nintendo 64 which was pretty cool.

That was the only reason Episode I – The Phantom Menace was made, merchandising.

The whole franchise is a merch machine

It is now, but the original trilogy was about the movie experience and telling a story. The Empire Strikes Back is still one of the best movie sequels of all time.

The one with Natalie Portman and young Anakin sucked

The Mandalorian has definitely saved Star Wars imo. I enjoyed the first series although it was a little slow at times. But series 2 is Star Wars how it’s supposed to be. Great characters & great story.

For me the sequels were the biggest missed opportunity in film history. The last 5 mins of the Mando season 2 finale alone easily surpassed all 3 sequel movies put together. That’s how you introduce something new but also respect the originals.

It’s good to be excited about Star Wars again & I’m looking forward to all the spin-off shows Disney announced last week.

Now if we can only grab a top 8 spot!
