I loved it when Skywalker obliterated the Dark Troopers without batting an eye...

A Jedi strength flows from the force..

Oh great we’re saved when the single X-wing arrived was a great line

Yeah, that line confirmed who was coming.

Don’t know about that...I took it as a brilliant bit of sarcasm...

The beginning of the episode was also brilliant with the destruction of the Death Stars from an Empires point with the rebels viewed as terrorists..

Gives immense power to OBI-WAN’s..the truths we cling to depends on a certain point of view...

Favreau gets Star Wars.. they should just give him the keys

I'm very impressed with your understanding of the smaller details of the series.

Random question: My two boys are very keen to start watching Star Wars, where did you guys get your kids started?
I’m a little conflicted about starting them with the Phantom Menace vs A new hope and the original trilogy.

I'd start at Episode 1 through to 9 then watch the spin offs.

Agree. Along with Dave Filoni they should have sign-off on anything Star Wars related moving forward.

I disagree watching it in this order, only because Empire Strikes Back won't have the same impact if you know the Anakin/Vader back story.

Get him to watch the hatchet order. 4, 5, 1, 2, 3 then 6 through to nine. Doesn't ruin the Vader is Luke's dad arc.

Yeah that’s a good way as well.

I'm not sure it matters ..a purist would go in cinematic order..@Cultured_Bogan idea is good..

What ever you chose...I would watch Rogue One be immediately prior to A New Hope...the end of Rogue mashed into Hope is incredible..

or you could just watch this..

I’d say Rogue One first & then follow the theatrical release order.

Exciting times ahead for your young blokes! I felt like a 7 yr old again after watching Luke’s scene in the Mando finale!

Enjoy

Just wondering .....Lucas should have got it right from day one ..maybe our finals series should be watched differently ...if we cut out as soon as Dwyer smashed JWH ......Farah stupid kick v the Warriors ...rewatch Choker's shot at goal a 100 times ...priorities everyone priorities ..once we have worked out the Tigers finals sequencing ..then discuss Star Rorts sequencing

Maybe in the players Bios they should say which Star Flaws character they closely identify with

For anyone new to Star Wars I'd advise against them watching Rogue One before A New Hope, the reason why the RO ending is so amazing is how it emotionally ties in with the original movie. That will be lacking if you haven't seen ANH.

Agree.

First timers should watch Rogue One after watching IV.

Next time I get around to a binge I will watch them 1 through to 9 with Rogue One between 3 and 4 and Solo between 5 and 6.

Why Solo between 5 and 6?

Why Solo between 5 and 6?

You see his character progression from a self interested rogue to finding a cause worth fighting for by the end of Ep V. I think that is a good time to investigate why he was a ratbag to start off with. Just my opinion, others probably have equally good reasoning to watch it elsewhere.
