Starford To’a #253

Has reportedly re-signed with the club through to the end of 2027.

The centre and winger was due to be off-contract at the end of this season and would have been able to negotiate with rival clubs from November 1 this year, but has instead decided to put pen to paper on a new deal with the joint-venture.

The Wests Tigers Life Podcast are now reporting that To'a has earned himself a contract extension through to the end of 2026.

The 24-year-old signing on until the end of 2027 means rival clubs will have to wait until November 1 next year to make a play at him, and means, pending fitness and selection, that he should go past 100 career games as a Tiger in the coming year, having recently played his 50th for the club.

Good news....more please

If he doesn't resign for a couple of extra years without overs, then we have problems
Can look at this two ways ....

1 - he's spoken highly of Benji, has been supported by the club through his injuries, has a good clique of friends in the club, playing career best footy.
or
2 - he's managed by Daniel O'Loughlin of Wassermanns who I don't believe is a great advocate of our club to his clients. He manages Stefano, say no more.

Hope he shows a bit of loyalty like Pole did …Tigers have nursed him through a lot of injuries and he has really only just showed some consistency this season ..

Just about to turn 25 so hope he can stay a couple more years here, then look to have one last go elsewhere if he still has an itch to scratch

I think he will. Adel on the WTL podcast wouldn't make this up and has good connections at the club still.

It's probably still in final negotiations stage.

But is saying that, O'Loughlin seemed to do everything he could to persuade Stefano out of the club.

A good decision for his client. Gets great money, an easier job and into Origin at the Storm. Less work, more cash and opportunities. We'd all say yes to that.
