Remember when Stef said he wanted to be club captain? How this guy sees himself as a leader is beyond me. Quietest guy on field and regularly goes missing during games. Now all this contract drama.

I personally couldn't care if he leaves or not, as much potential as he has. As others have stated, we want players who want to be here and who will put the effort in week in and out.

Richo said last year you don't pay that sort of money for a prop. He says you need game changers on millions, not props. So I doubt he'd pay that much even for someone as important as Haas

Were completely invaluable for Souths when Richo was around. If he doesn't recognise their value and how players like that built up to their premiereship run (Even if some above were replaced by Burgii) then he is the wrong man for our club.

We cannot miss the next Marty Taupau/Luke Lewis or other key prop/second rower.

Im gonna have to rewatch the game. I thought the difference was the halfbacks kicking game and attack. We rolled upfield quite easily for most of the game.

Oregan Kaufusi was ahead of Stef. at Parra. Wests Tigers gave him a place to go to after he was benched for a year with Parra; and was appreciative at the time. Wanted to be captain one day, loved the Tigers etc..
My how the $$$$$ change all that. Kaufusi would be better value now, along with some other aspiring props ----- 2 for the price of one? Klemmer slowing, opening for a NRL spot for someone!

Probably too hard to pry him out of QLD and Bronco's now.
Think that opportunity has passed, but fingers crossed.
Would be cheaper than $800k and as good as Stef IMO.

You are right Milky, just hope they dont get caught in paying way overs for Stefano when he exactly isnt setting the standard in our pack. For me API and FAINU have week in week out been competing non-stop in a losing side.
Does anyone know how long Samuela Fainu is signed for he would be one player I would be very worried about losing. Kid is going to be a rep player very soon, he is already a weapon at such a young age.
