More like a month into the season. It doesn’t matter, they are still on the ball at least trying to upgrade and extend him. If they are doing all they can do, it’s all you can ask. Ball is in Stef’s court.

Yes its apart of the process we go through...
1st we decide the player we want to keep and we then book a meeting for 6 months time to discuss if we are making the right decision on this player.. We then we start the process of asking the player if he actually wants to stay here and if we are lucky and he says Yes then its a goer...
Its easy after that as we normally can get a contract drawn up and signed in about 4 months...

I'm taking the piss but that's what it seem like from the outside :face_with_rolling_eyes:

The criticism of such a move goes a long way towards illustrating why everyone walks all over us.
We have an easy opportunity to strengthen our offer. If we don’t take it, another club will.
