I'm starting to see the potential availability of Luke Thompson as a more obvious step to bolster the forward pack and support Stefano.

Tamou is more or less done - he'll do a job but he's not a forward leader any more, not unless his form dramatically improves 2022.

Blore is the real deal just needs more matches under his belt without injury.

Twal gives you guaranteed workman output.

Joffa has been very disappointing - maybe he can turn it around, but as an experienced campaigner he's been making less and less impact as the year has gone on, and we bought him for the purpose of providing that impact and mobility.

So it leaves us one prop short; a dynamic, aggressive prop to support Stefano's obvious talent.

I think Joffa has been played all over the place.
He looks lean as atm almost like Madge is trying to mould him into a backrow/lock style motor player.

Agree on someone like Thompson. Stefano needs support up front and very soon otherwise he will pack up and leave or get burnt out. Stefano is one heck of a talent someone we can build off for sure.

Im a fan of Joffa. He is really putting in and his effort is there every game. If we can get to a point where Joffa is the weak link in our pack, we are looking good.

Joffa makes the occasional arm grab which he needs to get out of his game, then I’ll agree with you.

So does that mean we would now have Twal, Steph, Mickaele, Musgrove, Offas, Tamou and now we want another Prop. How much is this one gonna cost and is that what this club really needs. I didnt count amone also as who knows what is happening with him. That would mean we have 7 props (with Thompson) in a 30 man squad and 8 if you count amone. I think we have enough props. We are now stuck with Tamou for another year and correct me if im wrong but Offas for 2 more. Dont get me started on that one though.

A good prop. The players you mention, only Stefano is playing well. Twal mostly plays lock these days and Joffa more like backrow.

He is a good prop mate (when he is on the field) and of course he would make us better but we have snookered ourselves again with long term contracts to crap like Tamou and Offas. In my opinion Twal is a Prop and surely you cant have Offas on an edge so he is not a backrower so i dont know where he sits. If i had my way he would be in reggies. Why we keep persisting with him whilst Tuki is on the sidelines i dont know. Same goes for Luci. I thought we were developing these kids but that must be done from the sidelines these days.

Tuki isn't quite ready and needs another offseason.

I thought tuki was good in his limited stints

Just needs a good offseason to musclr up and get vus minutes up

Keep up those offloads tho

Yeah I agree, a good strong off season will do him the world of good.

Anyone know who the last Wests Tigers prop to score more than 6 tries in a season .. ? Stefano had 6 this year !

Imagine him at the fb? He would be better than Trbojevic!

Titans have already began negotiations with Tino to extend. He comes off contract at the same time as Stef, so why haven’t we done the same yet

So we haven't started negotiations with him?

Might have to move him into centre or 2nd row. Wasted at prop.😁

If he moved to centre he would be one of the quickest in our backline.

He can motor for a big unit.

Some still don’t realise negotiations are a 2 way street. If you were Stefano, would you want to be negotiating an extension with us atm?

My manager would be not be considering offers until the market had been tested…

Good question, maybe I should add it to our trivia Saturday night lol

Only person more astonished than myself when Stefano got call up to SOO was...Madge!!.....Who immediately elevated him to start. for us
Whether it was watching Dale tie his shoelaces or mixing with Haas and Paulo,or drinking the SOO Gaterade, there was immediate improvement in the kid
You can bet with JWH retiring soon,Roosters will have Minicello in his ear dangling the
" mix with great players and become one of us"BS...just look at TEDDY...blah blah..which we need to anticipate and counter before they get the chance
WTS need to be VERY proactive with this guy who will undoubtedly play rep footy for quite some time..very low risk in that
A big plus for WTs is Stefano stuck to his initial reasons for leaving Eels and didnt u turn under considerable pressure in 2020,so showed more integrity and loyalty than" turncoat "Teddy ever did, whom once his body was rite cldnt leave the joint fast enuff
But $$ talks early...plus Sheens and new assistants' ability to continue to develop him
..plus maybe throw in a new set of teeth if all fails!!

Yeh, it’s probably just a coincidence that every team in the playoffs has an ex WT player, most of them appeared to have left very unhappy.
