Stephen Humpries 2GB Resigned

Humphreys is staying on until we get a replacement.

What if that takes months? Do negotiations continue with players? Do we leave next season's recruitment until all the decent players are gone?

Does he give Benji 4 million until 2017 as a parting gift?

He needs to go immediately.

I agree, when you are a decision maker you need to depart immediately. I don't envy his replacement…which you would have to say would most likely be Mayer.

Mayer would be a good choice. Probably best for everyone's sanity to avoid anyone with any links to Balmain or the Magpies…

We are kidding who would want the job ..would say there will be some patsy selected by the board as filling the position with no say. That's how this mob operate I doubt Mayer would touch it with a barge poll.

he really tore the team apart it all started with getting rid of Gibbs and Fifita to sign the dud mr 500K from there the team never recovered and its all been downhill since

thanks for your service steve I dont know what it is like to run a sporting club and think it would be a very difficult job . 1 person does not make or break a club , when we win games he is a great executive when we lose hes crap luv it

Mate you obviously have no idea of why Gibbs was let go. Even Bryce himself admitted he had to be sacked. Many were surprised he lasted as long as he did.

Adding to the Humphreys news, rumour on 2gb is that 4 high profile players will be shown the door very shortly…not sure how reliable the info the 2gb boys received was though

The CEO takes the fall. It is the way of the world in this circumstance.

The board has to be next on the agenda.

so it's not immediate?

does he get any say in who the next ceo could be? or is it entirely up to the board?

Wow! Wonder who obviously Blair is one of em. The other 3, i'd guess are lawrence, utai and ayshford.

Actually hang on. It'll be Ayshford Moltzen, Blair and Lawrence. The first two because of the drinking episode. Utai will be let go at the end of the season.

Hope benji is not let go; i reckon he still has it in him to prove haters wrong. Give him another 3-4 rounds to get some confidence against the Cowboys and Penrith. Plus, it'd break my heart to see him leave in such a fashion. Much rather he returns to his best 😛ray:

Edit: This is under the assumption it is true. It's 2GB so….might not be. But they did get the Humphery's sacking right.

Tuqiri will be one, Utai more than likely another. As bad as he is playing, I'm not sure about Lawrence. I won't be surprised of Blair is shown the door, he has been ordinary with a captial O and did himself no favors again last night with plenty of arm grabbing in defence and minimal contribution in attack.

Yep Blair has to go and we need to buy an ESTABLISHED second runner who runs holes, threatens on the fringes and hits hard in defence.
