It just you know what’s me to tears that we keep playing the same season over and over and over. I keep expecting to see Andie MacDowell on the bench.

Close losses against leading teams followed by awful losses against poor teams. Still losing games due to missed goals. I don’t what else to say. We were up by 6 points Madge gives them a spray and they lose the second half by 12.

Told you they weren’t listening to the madge spray at half time....

100% correct

Some thing massive needs to change

Maybe he’s lost the dressing room

Well anyone who he has lost can shove off frankly. At least Maguire is trying to change the paradigm.

There is no one in our team I'd be devastated at losing.

There has only been one in the last 10 years.

Ryan Matterson?

I think you're all way too harsh on Mbye. He shouldn't be captain and doesn't deserve the dollars he's on, but he's nowhere near the problem with this side and has been playing fine at centre. I'd have him in my side easy every week. He's a class above other options. He's not an impact player, and we desperately need those sorts of players, but you don't drop solid players if you don't have someone better. Really think this is over the top for what he's doing.

Our issue is our defensive fortitude when it counts. We simply get sloppy and passive at crucial times. Parramatta opened up the game late in the first half last week when we started to get intimidated and Warriors did the same in the second half. We just don't match teams when they lift. Talking about who is playing centre or not has nothing to do with how we go about winning games.

We need a Gareth Ellis, Boyd Cordener, Rueben Wiki, Ben kennedy, Jesse Bromwich sort of player that our forward pack can be led by. We had that with Ellis in 2010 and 11, and we tried to get that in Adam Blair, but we've not had it since. Ellis was a player who would change the momentum of an attacking or defensive set with a big hit-up or a really strong tackle which would slow the speed of the opposition. No one in our team can do that. In my opinion, that's all this team needs to be a top 8 team. Talk about backs all you want, but they're the frilly stuff at the bottom of the dress.

Ok

The half time spray looked like the wrong tactic today, you want the players to be angry, not scared.
The team looks a lot angrier with Packer and Blore in it.

Looking at the video it looks like a few of players have switched off with here we go again. Mbye did not make eye contact with anyone and was looking at the floor (hardly inspiring).

They are not good signs for a coaches future.

Weve played one out footy for most of the year...minimises mistakes but limits our scoring potential
Works best if youve got 4 Burgess brothers breaking thru the defence..but were not that team
Poor tactics, abysmal goalkicking..and some blokes who just dont deserve to be there..starting with walters who i doubt will ever see NRL again
Very disappointing

Despite how bad we were overall, the goal kicking was the difference in points at the end - two sitters that shouldn’t have been missed, and a penalty goal to the Warriors who couldn’t have really taken that shot if the score was 12 - 6, not 8 - 6 at the time.

Nah, when would our board ever sack a coach

Mikaele has always been average. Hopefully he misses out for Packer next week.

Disagree. He was one of our best forwards tonight and regularly dented the line.

Rubbish. He is big enough to hold a bull out and never looks like breaking the line.

Can any of our forwards, except Lucy, pass a ball?

Very disappointing.

What I noticed is

Garner is similar to Sue, looks punch drunk a lot of the time

Aloiai should own games like these but rarely does

Doueihi playing injured but still is our best and maybe only option at FB

Twal looked way off the pace

Mbye, Walters, Clark etc are not the type of players the top 4 teams have in their roster.

You know things are in poor shape when Lawrence is one of your starting centres. Maybe in 2010 but now.....

We need a goal kicker

We need more options in attack.

Credit to the Warriors though.

I have no more patience for them after losses like this. I would go nuclear on the backline. Would prefer if we had a totally different 1-7 by rd 20.

1. Dylan Smith
2. David Nofaoluma
3. Zac Cini
4. Tommy Talau
5. Asu Kataoa
6. Benji Marshall ©
7. Jock Madden

What a difference a week makes..

Disagree on Mikaele..was one of the only one's who actually went forward...

Very few positives in that I will say Blore again showed the ability to hit and stick.

As for the negatives:
- There is a reason that Walters has not played much NRL, he is not up to it
- Garner's defence is not up to first grade standard
- Mikaele has gone backwards. He is plodding this year.
- Mbye adds little
- Soft underbelly still there

Yeah what has happened to Mikaele
Lacks energy that’s for sure.
Mbye has to go,adds almost nothing.

Lawrence and Joey in the centres

I’d stop hiding him in centre’s half or full back for me.

The whole organisation is average and I wish it wasn't. Why does no one really want to come here? Man I wish I had the magic answer. There's alot of talk about our poor facilities being an issue for signing players and how the new COE will change things. What if it doesn't, what next.

Just like that lunatic crackhead you follow in the politics thread you're always good for a laugh Col.

We are going nowhere and no one will convince me otherwise. All this crap about changed attitudes and culture is just talk. Nothing is changing. We always have been, and continue to be, soft, soft, soft.
Seriously, why would any decent prospect or established player want to be part of the garbage we dish up every friggen year. They’d be mad.
We all get super excited when we sign a no name bloke from Bondi. That exemplifies our club. We need some decent bloody recruitment but I’ll be stuffed if I know how we will do it. we deserve better than the constant shit this club throws up. 3 finals in 21 years. Nothing short of disgraceful.
And we keep addressing the same problems every bloody year. WHY DO WE NOT HAVE A GOAL KICKER??? It’s not good enough.
Man I’m sick of caring because the people employed to care obviously dont

Pretty much spells why we are not a top eight side
