We are going nowhere and no one will convince me otherwise. All this crap about changed attitudes and culture is just talk. Nothing is changing. We always have been, and continue to be, soft, soft, soft.
Seriously, why would any decent prospect or established player want to be part of the garbage we dish up every friggen year. They’d be mad.
We all get duper excited when we sign a no name bloke from Bondi. That exemplifies our club. We need some decent bloody recruitment but I’ll be stuffed if I know how we will go it we deserve better than the constant shit this club throws up. 3 finals in 21 years. Nothing short of disgraceful.
And we keep addressing the same problems every bloody year. WHY DO WE NOT HAVE A GOAL KICKER??? It’s not good enough.
Man I’m sick of caring because the people employed to care obviously dont

Pretty hard to argue with that Steve. You’re dead right.

Like I don’t want a pity party but I’ll use my example - I really didn’t want to go to the game last night. It was cold and the viewing at the SCG is poor. But I went. I was loyal. I showed my support the best way I could.
How was that loyalty rewarded? By watching a repeat of total ineptitude.

Need 4 forwards on bench. Garner and Walters not NRL standard. Need to stop playing injured players, Twal and AD

Twal is average

Our forward pack is average

Do not get the love for Twal a good mid level worker that a team needs nothing more .

I reakon Madge is past it. I know I'm past it. He's been to a few clubs, I wonder what he honestly thinks about the club.

Very few positives in that I will say Blore again showed the ability to hit and stick.

As for the negatives:
- There is a reason that Walters has not played much NRL, he is not up to it
- Garner's defence is not up to first grade standard
- Mikaele has gone backwards. He is plodding this year.
- Mbye adds little
- Soft underbelly still there

Yeah what has happened to Mikaele
Lacks energy that’s for sure.
Mbye has to go,adds almost nothing.

Lawrence and Joey in the centres

I’d stop hiding him in centre’s half or full back for me.

Who else was he going to put there at the time?

Agree not consistent in attack.

Brent read mentioned warriors may be looking at Maguire they did say they were looking at a grand final winning coach with 1 year on their contract.

At least we beat the BRoncos 48 zip. But seriously the game plan or execution was all wrong last night. The coach must take some responsibility which he has! The real enigma is Marshall who is the natural leader of the team but is so hot and cold for years now! He ran around brain dead for most of the match until 5 mins to go

Well reviewed the gamer again today to see where we fell down.
Agree with your prior comments add this as well.
* Coach did not have the team ready
* Coach spray at half time did nothing we were in front
* Incorrect selections - Twal should of been on bench to start
* Nofo poor positioning and defense also an issue
* Marshall was missing tackles again
* Mybe woeful again - Captain Underpants (Drop)
* Grant looked like he needed a rest - Worst game for us
* Bench players came on had more impact should have got more minutes
* Brooks came on too late but had an opportunity to close, could'nt !!!
* Packer and Euth were missed

Disappointing again to lose to a bottom 8 side be nothing we have not expected again, we need a change in the spine to make a difference as little game management. This is also the 1st time it has exposed the coach and his selection and game management, Simon Dwyer is also adding nothing as a performance analysis during the game need someone with more experience.

Well Madge certainly has issues after last night, however i also liken him to Dean Pay came into a Club with the following issues.
* Roster is not worthy of a Top 8 team
* Some player contracts are extraordinary. (Mybe/Reynolds/Packer)

If you also look at the half time video last night you can see Mybe not looking at the coach and listening, Play him at your own peril.

Interesting...
I was thinking the same thing just recently.

Would change their culture.

Easily more talent in the Warriors team....

What I noticed is

Garner is similar to Sue, looks punch drunk a lot of the time

Aloiai should own games like these but rarely does

Doueihi playing injured but still is our best and maybe only option at FB

Twal looked way off the pace

Mbye, Walters, Clark etc are not the type of players the top 4 teams have in their roster.

You know things are in poor shape when Lawrence is one of your starting centres. Maybe in 2010 but now.....

We need a goal kicker

We need more options in attack.

Credit to the Warriors though.

You gave me a good laugh, I really like Garner but he does certainly get that punch drunk look about him after being tackled.

This year Twal has averaged 103 running meters and 47 tackles at 96.3% efficiency. He is above average in attack and brilliant at defence, he can also play at least 60 minutes a game which gives the coach options for how to play the bench.

He is not a star but is reliable and tries hard, whats not to love?

Civoniceva type of prop. Hard working, makes good metres, great defence, rarely makes mistakes, plays big minutes, but isn’t flashy. Every team needs one.

Disagree re Mikaele...he is really trying, bends the line...120 plus off the bench.

Agree with the rest.

Seems an odd decision to install Mbye as Captain..that was MaGuire's alone..

He also preferred Reynolds for a while there over other options..Packer also appears to be back in favour..

I could understand hamstrung.... if he never used these guys like ever..but it's wearing thin IMO

Captain Underpants is very clever I'll pay that..well done..
