Yeah I don't blame anyone for wanting to continue to support the club financially. We are all cut from different cloth, and all have our opinions on how the club ought to be run.

It takes a certain level of devotion to want to keep putting in when club has given so little in 11 years. Can't fault people for hanging in there.

As much as I struggle to get to games like I once did, and as much as the clown show gets me down, I don't think I'll ever give up my membership. I'm in a lucky/privileged position that it doesn't really shift the needle financially, so I think it's more about enduring the (seemingly endless) pain to make the eventual return (in 2065) to success all the better.
That said, I certainly don't begrudge anyone giving up their membership or whatever other contribution. I certainly have plenty of friends/family that have finally had too much in recent times and thrown it in. And I've gotta say, some of the response from the club has been pretty bloody arrogant.

As critical as I am, I don't begrudge anyone deciding to contribute. I will consider it again next year based on future signings and who the coach is as. That is the biggest factor in me deciding to attend again, and I won't invest in a membership when I don't even wish the full 80 on TV anymore.

I keep getting told we cannot bring change in the administration of our club. Lee has made it clear you’re not important to this administration unless you’re a paying ticketed member.

Well to anyone disillusioned with WT constant poor decisions over many many years I say stop kicking in your money, buying merch and stop going to watch this rabble play. We don’t have a home, we can’t win, we don’t have a coach, we don’t have good players and this mob simply can’t fix it. Their one idea is sacking coaches which isn’t a solution, it’s just suits trying to save face.

Dwindling crowds and money in the bank will ultimately ensure this administration will eventually get tossed out and the NRL will install an alternative. They need WT to get their TV money.The new administration couldn’t possibly be any worse.

Show bags were free once upon a time you know, so on that basis you couldn't really complain too much about the quality, as a matter of fact they were great.

Unfortunately times have changed and these days they are pretty pricey, which reminds me of a bloke I worked with once.

The guys nickname was SHOWBAGS because he was full of shit and not very good value.

This makes me think that nicknames would make a pretty entertaining thread that might lighten up the mood of everyone on this forum.

WT really need to find our own Uncle Nick (Easts) or Russell Crowe (Souths) not only financially but knows have to steer the ship from the top. Storm must have excellent management as well given their continued success.

Recycling Coaches has proven to not be the answer and a band aid solution to cover up other issues at Board Level.

We could find a highfalutin lawyer that's really good with contracts, that might turn things around.

How about you tune out or ignore hobbo, his presence to you is not worth stressing about.
It would be a boring forum if there weren't characters like hobbo on it.
I find Hobbo quiet engaging and we've had several chats that I've enjoyed.
He has been on this forum for a long time and I assure you he's said far more than "punt him".
