Storm v Raiders (spoilers)

Geez raiders got some dud calls.
Pretty sure Cronk was held up

Not excited to watch this grand final at all :/
 
Bummer! Oh well I can go to my brother in law's get together next week without having to worry about getting home in time to watch the GF.
 
Haven't seen the sin bin for anything all year. Predicable from Storm, methodical, boring, 20x crusher tackles. Will easily beat Sharks. Need something to do next Sunday, anything good on at the movies.

Yep, for sure. He referee'd fantastically in the cowboys vs broncos game, and the grand final was his to lose… sure enough, he lost it with tonight's performance

Yeah he was very whistle happy tonight, which is unlike him really.
 
Either way, who ever wins the grand final, it will be a crap result, might watch re runs of Gilligans Island.

Can't stand the peptide pushers and the bunch of grubs they have

And the salary cap Storm are dead set boring, should get home with Cam Smith as ref

Yep he sure has along with the steffanovic brother…..the other two just had a fair game tho which goes to show how bad they were last night.
 
In a really tight finals game you have the majority of the calls go the right way. Last night the Raiders copped 90% of the bad calls. I really think the Sharks will win next week if Melbourne are not piggybacked again. Cummins to me has to be the ref and howl me down but I would have Maxwell as his partner. Two refs who seem to be handle pressure better than the others

Don't think that applies when there is no impact on the result of the play.
 
Like many, I can't stand the crap they are allowed to get away with on a weekly basis. Though I was home, only switched over to get score updates, yet still see working on the arm and neck etcetera.

It has been a blight on the game for a decade now, so we'll and truly time an end was put to their practice.

I don't agree with that at all, Raiders got lots of soft penalties coming out of trouble in the first half.

The match turner was that idiot Wighton getting himself binned, Raiders defensive line could not hold the Storm in that 10 minutes and they gave away so many messy penalties. Leilua and big guys like Paulo struggling to get back onside, Hodgson giving away a stupid pull-down penalty because his team was shot.

Conceded 8 points and deserved to be penalised, Raiders fell apart with 12 players.
 
Felt sorry for the raiders. They had no chance of making the grand final.
Here are a few reasons why I don't like storm:
1.NRL had no guts to split up the big three, when Storm were caught out rorting the salary cap.
2\. chicken wing tackle.
3\. crusher tackle
4\. wrestling in the play the ball area.
5\. grapple tackle
6\. constant favourtism in 50 / 50 call going there way.
7\. grubbiness, knee's to the head of opponent in the play the ball area.
8\. their No. 9 constant cheap shots on players that rarely get penalised.

I remember a game against Newcastle a couple of years back. The ref actually had the balls the penalize their tactics. Bellamy said after the match "the ref doesn't like the way we play". Ref was then banished to reserve grade. And on it goes.

They did though. It used to be the big 4 until Inglis had to leave.

I reckon the penalties were pretty even. Hodgson was absolute crud. Leilua was also ordinary. Leilua made some big runs but he has a lot of looseness in his game.

How good is Korobiete though. We made one of the worst decisions of all time letting him go. He is a weapon.
