Someone mentioned the Australian movie Broke

All about a down on his luck ex North Sydney Bear player and his post footy problems

I decided to watch it ...and I'm thinking to myself ...bloody hell that looks like Auckland Creek and then that looks like the railway crossing where I turn off to take my daughter to netball

Filmed almost entirely in Gladstone ....bar the racetrack which is Rockhampton lol

It's made by heath Davis who lives in the blue mountains and used to be a teacher i worked with. He also made the film book week

and it stars my best mate growing up.

Small world lol

Thats why you always have to behave yourself

Nothing teaches like time. Back on topic, Steve LeMarquand, from Broke is a great bloke and a good actor. When we kids he asked me what I wanted to be and I had no idea (still dont) and he knew he was going to be an actor from a young age. I admire and respect that.

I have taken a few bites in my life that the results effected other people too much no matter how much I chewed.

For All Mankind, season 2 has dropped on Apple TV+

Basically what could have happened if Russia had put a man on the moon first. It sets up for a different type of space race, on the moon.

Age of Samurai on Netflix. Only three episodes in and I am hooked. A dramatic documentary.

Starts in the Sengoku period when Oda Nobunaga takes the place at the head of his clan in Owari and how he managed to set Japan on the course to be unified under one Shogun.

I've stood five feet from the armor of most of the guys in this documentary, so it's especially fascinating.

Not Netflix but ABC. Exposed: Ghost Train Fire. Excellent, three part doco on the Luna park fire. Amazing.

It’s exceptionally high quality. I’d endorse that recommendation.
