Excellent film about a very sad true story.

Not a wrestling fans at all myself so didn't know much about this family.

Reality is often stranger than fiction. What makes this movie though is Jeremy Allen White's performance. The guy can act.

We binged The Bear over Xmas which is an excellent series, he was pretty good in the US version of Shameless too.

I was pleasantly surprised too.

The marketing was terrible - because it originally looked like something I'd go out of my way to avoid

I was not aware of the story so I kept looking it up on my tablet whenever something happened and was a bit shocked to see that this actually occurred. The character is a real person.
The movie was made by the fella who did District 9 and Chappie. The visuals and filming of the races are great.

Yeah I was similar. I think the true story attached to it was a masterstroke that grounded what could easily be dismissed as a silly fantasy.

I watched it. What a bunch of self serving egotistical grubs the Libs are. In it for themselves and nothing else. Good watch though.
