Stuart on Farah and Sheens

Stuart's coaching record speaks for itself. Whilst he has had some success, he has inherited reasonable sides in the past and left them in tatters.

There is a difference between loyalty and a** licking.

Some players are good and it is worth sticking with them. That is loyalty. Some players will say whatever the coach and the media wants. That is the other.

Unfortunately rep football is full of brown nosing and nepotism. It's just like the apparent rule that there must be at least 2 Manly players in every rep side. Short of good Manly players? OK, just pick Jason King and Josh Perry.

The bottom line is that Farah is the best hooker in the game behind Smith. He should be picked. but when he is not I hope he plays well for WT and sticks the ball right up Stuart and Bob Fulton's rear end.

In the article it says that sheens didn't pick farah against the Welsh. Tell me if I am wrong but didn't Robbie already went home because he found out about his mums cancer and left the four nations tour.

Obviously Stuart does his research not. What a fool. What chance does NSW have with this fool in charge. Next he will be bringing Menzies
back from France, putting Minichello at fullback, king in the centers and mason on the bench.

You forgot to add pulling on the number 7 himself and appointing himself captain coach!!

How more unprofessional can this guy get, writing crap like that, poor Robbie, he doesn't stand a chance :crazy :crazy

Gee is going to be hard to cheer for the blues this year!! I know Lawrence is desperate to be picked and if he is then I hope he runs riot, he would be the only reason I would bother to watch it.

Stuart you sir are a JOKE

Buderus is ahead of Ennis and Farah :roll :crazy :roll :crazy :roll :crazy :roll :crazy :roll :crazy :roll :crazy :roll :crazy

You can give it to stuart HAPPY but rickys words are pretty close to the truth, my only concern is buderus , but i suppose who is in the best form of the 3 if your totally honest.
I tip my hat to stuart for saying it how it really is , and mr Sheens should heed some of his own advice .
Who gives a toss who wins origin ,its great watching a great side like Queensland strut their stuff.nobody can deny that .

I actually liked parts of this article… He has called Sheens out about his Kangaroo non-selection of Farah and rightly so.

Regardless, I think Robbie has 2 weeks to lay down the platform to make a statement to the selectors. Buderus wont last 80 minutes in Origin, and this alone will cause headaches at the selection table, so its still up to Robbie to state his case!

Farah on Fire today!!!

Seriously can we sack Stuart now and get a new coach and selectors before game 1\. Farah is by far the best hooker NSW have and should have been in the side from 2006 onwards. He doesn't play for St George, Newcastle or the Roosters and that is why he is not selected.

Perhaps he should do a mini and ring up Stuart and tell him he can do the job.

The idiot coach and selectors are more likely to pick Weyman, King and Merrin over Woods who is a far better prop than the other 3 put together.

Seems like Ricky doesnt like Sheens much and Robbies chances certainly havnt been helped by speaking up.

Who does Ricky Stuart think he is? The NSW coach should not be writing sledging articles.

This is the man who has broke my heart and had me cheering for QLD the last few year.

Absolute crap coach who would destroy NRL if all the teams followed his stupid game plans.

The fact is Robbie was playing better footy during the last two years years Buderus was playing for NSW. Now six years later he is the answer again. :roll :

Unfortunately i can't state my true feeling of Ricky because I would be banned from the forum.

Robbie will not get picked this series.

Stuart has laid down his cards that little Mickey Anus is a shoe in for the 9 next year.

On the 4 Nations issue I thought Sheens had already dealt with that. The simple reality was that our side was not playing near potential and they needed another game to get their combinations together.

Ricky should just select and coach the side, no media commitments, no weekly sookfest in the Tele, just pick and coach the side

We'll lose this year again, they'll use Artie's passing as motivation and the fact they need to show they can win without Locky. I can see it being made a lot easier with poor selections, picking people on rep rather than form and once again people will be questioning the validity of City v Country.

Wow this article really pisses me off… The one time sheens stands up for his players and advocates them for origin, Stuart slams him for it. Maybe Ricky should've slammed Bennett last yr instead of listening to him and choosing all his crap dragons players that can't stand up in origin

Well there goes Robbie's chances of playing Origin. As much as Sheens should stick up for his players, he should've stayed out of it and let Robbie do the talking on the field.

Farah for MOM today.

The selection of buderus will be nothing short of ludacris. How can u not select ennis because he is "playing injured" then in the same sentence want to select buderus who missed the "rep trial" with injury? Farah has been the best hooker in nsw for years. And did nothing wrong in his 2 games in 09\. Ennis has been given plenty of games to prove himself and has failed. Buderus has done nothing to warrant selection.

Going on form it isn't anyone of these three it's De Gois 1/4 chicken/chips he has been by far the best NSW hooker on form

Mate I want to see a good close series If Stuart picks the side I think he will I don't think we will get a close series

Can you explain to me how Stuart calls how it really is , the only thing he goes into detail is 2003 which has absolutely nothing to do with 2012 SOO series when he grinds his own issues with Gus Gould

If thats who you want coaching your state thats fine , but if a Qld coach went on like that and lost I tremble at the thought of what would happen to him .Personally I would be far more fearful of NSW if Hasler was coach

If Stuart thinks playing well while injured is a criteria for selection/makes you an "Origin type player", how can he look past Farah?

He played with a broken nose against the Sharks. Busted it up more against Manly. Gets concussed in the Penrith game then wins Man of the Match a week later in City Country.

And still, his form is better than Ennis and Buderus.

I could be wrong, but didn't he go home because his mum had cancer?

Either way, I hope Robbie sees this before the game and destroys Parra.

"One of my strengths in life is being loyal and I don't have any regrets for that, although I have learned that this strength has at times been my biggest weakness. Loyalty is a rubbery word in the NRL. So many people use it to fit their own agenda and it gets to a point where they make the word almost meaningless."

Ditching the Canberra for the Dogs, I wonder if the Raiders think your definition of the word "loyalty" is meaningless?

This article is rubbish, from someone under pressure to perform when they have not seen any success in years. He inherited a superstar team and the roosters and destroyed them, he walked into a cronulla team who were starting to improve and set them back years.

Yep, he did come home because his mum was sick… but he also knew his fate for the Wales game!

I found the tone of this article incredibly disrespectful .

Ricky stuarts stocks have plummeted.

Coach sheens whilst on tour could not have chosen Farah with Cam Smith or Cronk in the same team.

Stuarts just making an excuse for not selecting the most inform Nsw hooked.

i hope stuart chooses buderass and nsw lose 3 zip. I just cant wait. the injustice is that farah at the the moment is the best hooker in the nrl. Go you mighty queensland!!!!!!!!!!!!! its time for ricky to go back to club football if that.

Dont forget that Stuart picked Dean Young ahead of Robbie last year. He should have been punted after that action alone.
