Justin Pascoe has got some really tangible results

Turning a $4 million dollar black hole when he arrive din 2015 into a profit for a think the first time in the clubs history. Increased memberships. increased sponsorship, I think i read over 65 community programs including welfare and mental health initiatives. Luring a Premiership winning coach.

This all off the back of 7 seasons without finals.

Now i not sure how much you can attribute a CEO with lack of results on the field. Its probably subjective however he would deserve to carry some of the can there for mine. However the Football operations guys are chief leaders in that although pascoe certainly has a say in who gets those roles.

However he has some very tangible results in terms of some of the general criteria I feel of being a good CEO.

To say that Cleary has had more to do with positive change. Well one 9th placed finish and leaving us like that.

Im a bit baffled with that comment.

Yep, there are a few misinformed forumers on here…

How the hell was Cleary the reason the club has turned around in a commercial sense ! Cleary left our club in disarray to head west without a thought of the fall out !
There has been a huge shift in philosophy and management of our club …dream on if you think that Pascoe was not a huge part of this .
Our club will be the worse if Mr Pascoe is not reinstated IMO.

I put that inane comment down to living in Melbourne.

The people that live there haven't even come to grips with the fact that the Storm were cheating the cap for years.

Pascoe is a champion for mine - we cannot afford to lose him.

Go get 'em Brydens.

Pascoe has been a very good appointment as CEO for the WTs…some like him some dont,in my opinion he has done nothing but have the WTs club at heart and try his best to make it a better place, for me he has done this compared to others in that role...
If he has stuffed up big time on the issues at hand, then the NRL must prove that he INTENTIONALLY cheated to gain advantage in the cap...
IF intent is proven then he only has himself to blame...I really think it has been an honest mistake JP wouldnt ruin his own reputation or the clubs for a dodgy contract....

just my opinion, lets see how it transpires in the coming days or weeks..

I would not be upset if Justin Potato fails to get reinstated.

I just don't buy this belief that he's been fantastic. Much of the positive change at the club was done by Cleary.

So we can assume you are not in the camp that believes Greenberg saw Pascoe as a threat to his job.

Greenburg has a tide of no confidence from the fans and a few of the FG players I know on a personal level have echoed this sentiment in private.

He is seen as a politician.

Even if that were true, it's all under his stewardship.

Why does the blame get laid at the feet of the administration when everything is going to pot, but the credit doesn't when it's going well? What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Eddie made quite a few good points prior. Cleary had bugger all to do with sponsorship, community programmes, membership.

Pascoe has done more for this club than Cleary. We have turned the corner under his leadership. We now have a well run club and are heading in the right direction.

Name a Wests Tigers CEO from the last 10 years who was a better CEO than Pascoe. In my opinion others were terrible and almost put the club in very severe financial positions.

There are two ways of handling this:

1\. Back Justin to the hilt and demand fairness.

2\. Get Uncle Nick investigated, Open up Melbourne's secret deals including one former fire and safety manager, look into Cowboys house building scheme and work out what Brizzie is doing.

If Justin Hangs for this. I want Nick expelled from the game. I want an open slather investigation and a high bar for all teams. A separate petition can go both ways, in fact if we are prosecuted and other teams are not, could we claim commercial disadvantage?

I was agreeing that Pascoe is a huge part of the Tigers resurgence, not the opposite. Go take a bex and lie down champ!

I agree, but to say Pascoe is the best CEO in the WT history is to damn him with faint praise.

It's not all roses though.
Since he's been here
We're on our 3rd coach in 3 seasons.
We lost 2 rep players that havn't been replaced.
Same training facilities.
Same standard in squad.
We went from 3 to 5 home grounds.
Under saturday cap investigation.

That's some big issues there, and most don't have a solution on the horizon.

Government funding for centre of excellence. Getting that built would have been a great legacy.

Can't blame him for the self interest of former players and coaches.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

Can't attack everything at once. If the third coach takes us to our first finals series in seven seasons without replacing the two rep players I'd posit that those two concerns are relieved.

Well he appointed his mate as our coach.

And if we don't make the 8? Will he ever be held accountable by his defenders?

Greenberg is average, run of the mill.

Pascoe isn't at that level. No way is Greenberg threatened by him.
