Supporter strike

Brooks needs time away from FG to get his confidence back. He was never a rep level player and, without confidence, he becomes very sloppy and takes the wrong option even more than usual.

I don't go on strike, I just lose interest because, even worse than losing, the Tigers have gone from being entertainers to being the most boring club to watch. I had more fun during the 9th Era, when the Tigers were sometimes flogged but also sometimes flogged other teams. The only bummer was the inevitable end-of-season choke to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
TBH I don't think he has ever had confidence. Not a knock on him, just the way it is.
Pretty much all of the elite halfbacks (and in Melbourne's case Munster as he is more of the 7 in their team compared to Hughes) in today's game have that real "hateability" about them because they are brash, get opposition fans offside with their cockiness yet they also are the primary drivers/motivators of their own team on gameday.
Brooks has shown over 10 years that he isn't that guy and it is crucial that a team hoping to have any semblance of success needs to have a dominating, cajoling, arrogant personality steering the ship at 7.

Can't really compare us to the Dolphins, they started with a clean slate. We have existing baggage that for around a million financial reasons we didn't want to shift. I also recall plenty of pundits on this forum telling all that would listen the AD was worth throwing the kitchen sink at him.

The time to settle is bogus for sure. If we gave the recruiting keys to some of the supporter base we would be in a real shit state - AD would be Brooks 2 - an overpaid underperformer we can't afford to get rid of.
Yep. I remember those AD posts in the off season. They were stupid even then.
